The fate of The Weekly Standard, the conservative magazine that has staked out a position as a publication on the right still critical of President Donald Trump, is uncertain, Editor-in-Chief Stephen Hayes told staff in a series of phone calls Tuesday, according to two people familiar with the matter.
The magazine's precarious position comes after its leadership spent months searching for a buyer, the people told CNN. The people explained that The Weekly Standard's leadership had butted heads with MediaDC, the current publisher of the magazine, and that the two parties had agreed to allow Hayes to search for a new owner. However, MediaDC recently informed The Weekly Standard's leadership that the company was no longer interested in a sale, the people said. Wittle Billy Nevertrump’s Weakly Liberal ain’t goin’ so hot?
Change it to the Monthly Standard.
"Weakly Substandard."

should join “forces” with stabby the clown and loudmouth levine.
Is Bill Kristol still involved with the magazine?
A prime example of what can happen when a news publication loses its way and tries to influence its readers instead of reporting the unvarnished news.
It works with liberals but not with conservatives.
Maybe it will merge with CNN or Democratic Underground where it belongs.
They can then spend the next ten years pretending to be conservative while becoming the New Republic.
Yahoo! Hate theses people. Steve Hayes an Bill Kristol. So pompous and bull headed.
Bill Kristol should have learned from Mark Levin, bury your bitter hatred for President Trump.
Even if it still pops out every once in a while, most people won’t notice.

He’s still listed as Editor at Large. Hopefully continuing to pump large quantities of daddio’s money in to keep it afloat.
