I’ve been privately contacted by close, like-minded colleagues warning me that my public feuds with social justice activists on social media could be occupational suicide, and that I should disengage and delete my comments immediately. My experience is anything but unique, and the problem is intensifying. Having successfully cultivated power over administrations and silenced faculty by inflicting reputational terrorism on their critics and weaponizing their own fragility and outrage, one fears whether there was no belief or claim too dubious that administrations wouldn’t cater to. Recently, this fear has been realized as social justice activists attempt to jump the epistemological shark by claiming that the very notion of biological sex, too, is a social construct.
As a biologist, it is hard to understand how anyone could believe something so outlandish. It’s a belief on a par with the belief in a flat Earth. I first saw this claim being made this year by anthropology graduate students on Facebook. At first I thought they mistyped and were simply referring to gender. But as I began to pay closer attention, it was clear that they were indeed talking about biological sex. Over the next several months it became apparent that this view was not isolated to this small friend circle, as it began cropping up all over the Internet. In support of this view, recent editorials from Scientific American—an ostensibly trustworthy, scientific, and apolitical online magazine—are often referenced. The titles read, “Sex Redefined: The Idea of 2 Sexes Is Overly Simplistic,” and “Visualizing Sex as a Spectrum.”
Even more recently, the most prestigious scientific journal in the world, Nature, published an editorial claiming that classifying people’s sex “on the basis of anatomy or genetics should be abandoned” and “has no basis in science” and that “the research and medical community now sees sex as more complex than male and female.” In the Nature article, the motive is stated clearly enough: acknowledging the reality of biological sex will “undermine efforts to reduce discrimination against transgender people and those who do not fall into the binary categories of male or female.” But while there is evidence for the fluidity of sex in many organisms, this is simply not the case in humans. We can acknowledge the existence of very rare cases in humans where sex is ambiguous, but this does not negate the reality that sex in humans is functionally binary. These editorials are nothing more than a form of politically motivated, scientific sophistry.
the dumbarse people with psychological identity issues will go to any lengths to have transgenderism accepted as science. Nature itself PROVES transgenderism is a lie and utter BS.

When the Soviet Union collapsed it took Marxist atheism and Enlightenment modernism down as well. In their place-—Postmodern deconstructionism, Eastern pantheism, polytheism, shamanism, spiritism. Postmodern deconstruction questions the biological binary sexes, meaning male and female. This segues very smoothly into polytheism with its ideal of polysexuality, or many genders. Since the 60’s sexual liberation movement America has been transitioning away from its traditional Christian grounded worldview into Eastern pantheism and polytheism.

True. In May 1968, when the red-diaper Commie punks at Columbia had "occupied" Lowe Library for days and President Grayson Kirk finally called the cops, the Faculty voted to hold hands in a human chain of septuagenarians to protect the young, spoiled fascists holed up inside.
The cops were ordered to stand down and did so, no doubt reluctantly. At that moment, the American academy lost its only justification for existence: the exploration of reality through the peaceful use of God-given reason.
The SJWs push a lie. Force everyone to comply with the lie or risk losing their job. That is exercising raw power. That is their purpose.
This would pretty readily explain the new pressure on Christendom.
Look to the Lord and wait on Him. The old rules of the church and society being in sync are going out the window. Salvation is actually going to start to mean something visible against a background of lostness.

This is my hometown where I played high school football. I would quit if I had to “hit a girl” I would be afraid that if I treated “they’ like a guy, I’d get busted for “bullying”

This reminds me of a funny story from nearly 20 years ago. My two older boys started playing hockey, but they started late for around here, at about 10. Eventually they got good enough to make the local high school team, but there was some catching up to do with the kids who had started skating at 3, 4, or 5 years of age.
So, some time was put in on the "C" team as they worked their way up. When one of the kids was 13, the local team played another that had two hugely fat girls. One of them had the puck, and one of my kids had to check her on the boards. He did his duty, and no more roughly than necessary.
After the game, he said, "Dad, I felt weird about that. She had the puck, so I had to check her. I did... but it was weird... I felt like I was sinking in..."
My reply to him (still in the very early stages of pubescence) was, "Some guys really like that." To which he replied, "Ewwww.... gross"

It was during the Renaissance that ancient mysteries, Caballah,Hermeticism (posits biological transformation/evolution of one kind to another), Hinduism, Buddhism, reincarnation, spiritual evolution, spiritism, and occult science were brought into Christendom. Many highly placed Churchmen and intellectuals readily embraced these ancient doctrines. This was the beginning. Successive generations---including the 3rd generation of Reformers-- followed their lead.
