Yes activity helps. Buckley was quoted along the lines that ‘industry is the enemy of melancholy’. However if the goal is marriage & children she is screwed. For men in this position, the likelihood of dying old & lonely is quite real and if you’re not religious there is a good case to be made to hasten the process.

I still enjoy my wife being in bed naked next to me, and she's over 60. But that's me.

In your case, I still think you are more likely to find somebody who you can be happy with, than your ex-wife can.

As far as your original question, you can try going where the women are. Try a yoga class, or an art class.

For women looking for men, join a gun club. Plenty of men would love to help you learn to shoot better.

they were trained in the schools to hate motherhood. Given little computer creatures or babies to lug about to train them not to be mothers and fathers.

I have talked to a number of men and women in their late twenties and early thirties who remember the exercises and when I point out how well it worked, and how obedient they were, for they are or past their prime childbearing years; it gives them serious pause.

My son dated a woman who was finishing college. She was perfect on paper, christian, home schooled, motivated, loving.

But aside from some family glitches she had, she was eager to work a high paying career, and frustrated that she wasn’t being cared for enough by him.

A constant push-pull exacerbated by alcohol.

Not a good mix.

I truly loved her and still miss her. But it was not going to work. Sad.

Just damn...my post was nearly two months ago, kitchen countertops won't be installed for another two weeks.

While you are at it, I would love to install a door in my garage to behind the stacked wood pile. No going out for wood at all in the winter. Just hike it over to the garage wood stack which is a half cord.
