Long-time Bay Area journalist and radio host, Ray Taliaferro, is still missing.
The 79-year-old was reported missing in Paducah, Kentucky where he was last seen on Nov. 10.
Taliaferro is said to have met with his manager at a pizza restaurant in Paducah earlier that day.
He's a man many people listened to on KGO Radio in the Bay Area for many years.
Friends said Taliaferro was also the president of the Arts Commission, Leukemia Society, and the San Francisco NAACP chapter.
"Millions of people spent the night with Ray Taliaferro Monday through Friday 1 a.m. to 5 a.m.," said KGO Radio talk show host, John Rothmann said. "You couldn't miss Ray Taliaferro. His wonderful commitment to human rights, his wonderful commitment to San Francisco and his wonderful commitment to people."
He's considered a San Francisco legend.
"He's one of those talents that is bigger than life. He's one of the people that you just dream of being somebody like Ray," KGO Radio host Pat Thurston said. "Always true to himself. A heart of gold."
A missing persons flyer for Taliaferro warns he 'may be experiencing disorientation and signs of dementia.'
KRON4's Michelle Kingston spoke to authorities who say, Taliaferro and his new wife of six months were in Kentucky looking at property she inherited.
She told law enforcement that she was walking the property when she turned around and noticed Taliaferro had left in their rental car.
Later wives can be brutal on the children of the first.
When Frank Sinatra was hospitalized, his wife Barbara never even called his children to be with him as he passed.
But Sinatra had set up the disposition of his wealth way before he died——his children got the rights to all of his music-—worth hundreds of millions.
Barbara was put out when the actual will was read——thought she was being cheated——but he left her all of his real estate properties, the Malibu house, and $3.5 million.....plus other assets like paintings and jewelry.
This doesnt add up.
Why? It's not hard...
He was married to the wife for 34 years. It's not like she had just came along recently for the money.

Somehow I would not be surprised if this case is on the ID channel maybe on an episode of Deadly Women.
“He’s one of those talents that is bigger than life.” Yeah, right. And Budweiser is the King of Beers with a kingdom located in central Antartica.
The loser is a punk going to hell. His only talent was the make callers feel like trash.
Missing? Good. Glad to hear he is finally off the radio. His friend Bernie Ward was smilier: a punk full of hate and a computer full of smut.
KGO + SF Chronicle + LA Times + KNX Radio = Culture of Death.
Dr. Bill Wattenburg was the only show on KGO worth a listen, since Dr. Bill talked about reality: the myth of global warning, the criminality of forcing new tanks on old gas stations, the criminality of poor forest management, the insulation solution to reducing pollution and the beauty of plasma recyclers.
Sad how Calif politicians ignored his counsel.
Der. Bill, the smartest man you could talk to for free.
went in a store Sunday morning and they had Cacie Kasem on the radio. He lives!!!!
or perhaps NBC Dateline and even 20/20 since they are moving away from news and aiming for who done it mysteries.
I miss Dr. Bill Wattenburg
AT40 still plays on the 70s XM channel.
Casem: I don’t know how it will turn out. Yes, the wife was pretty strange in her own right. The motives of both sides are not too clear. I probably lean toward siding with the kids, because of the burial in Poland (Norway??), which seemed unrelated to anything in his life.
Thanx I’m not interested in listening. Just ran into it in the store and it surprised me.
