Hell, yes. Hollywood even made a movie about her.

If RBG were ever to leave the court for any reason, I would be extremely happy that DJT could pick another justice. That said, I wish the lady well and hope she recovers from her injury. Getting old sucks, and we need to be compassionate about it. There but fornthe grace of God goes I.

... well said.

At her age, a fall like that is not likely to end well.
Well, ok........

Injuries like this in older folks will probably cause pneumonia as well. I dont wish her any Ill will. Quite the contrary. I hope she gets well, but retires very, very soon!

When I see her, what comes to mind is the PURE HATRED in the hearts of her and the people around her, the people enable her to continue to work at that age, because they HATE conservatives that much.
It’s really sad. Someone that age, and in that condition, should have retired years ago - and should have been told to do so...but not her.

Twenty plus years in healthcare plus having had my Dad living with me from age 78 to 88 taught me that when you approach 90 and you can't stay awake and you're falling you're likely to meet your Creator soon.

It killed my grandfather-in-law at 98, a simple rib fracture killed him by the time the ambulance came to get him. Now obviously, 98 years is pretty old, but when you’re old, injuries get more lethal.

Why would you pray for someone who’s continued existence on the court means the continuing murder of millions of unborn babies?

She won’t be around if she doesn’t take care of herself. By the way I read she is both Type I and II. She is overweight and does not diet or exercise. She is slowly killing herself and I don’t care how good her medical care is, she is on a lot of medication at this point.
To: Ancesthntr
Given her weakened and stressed immune system from from fighting and continuing to fight cancer this isn't good. She is fragile and breaking those ribs may well hasten her death from her cancer complications and maybe pneumonia.
To: JME_FAN
Yes she has been fighting that for a long time and had surgery several years ago. She has lasted longer than most I read about. She is in terrible shape.

She was probably hiding in a closet after hearing that the Kav was in the building.

she had the rare kind that can be cured if caught early I recently lost a friend to Pancreatic Cancer. His was caught fairly early, stage 2. Some people hear of cases such as RBG's and get false hope. Unfortunately, virtually all PC survivors have the uncommon and very survivable form RBG had. Most, like my buddy, have one of the more common forms with close to zero survival rate. He survived only 6 months.

We'll see if the story of "broken ribs on the left side" is even accurate.
The pancreas is right in that area, and with her past history I'm wondering if she has a recurrence of cancer.
If so, she's not long for this world and I pray that she seeks Jesus Christ as her Savior.
