Midterms: Youve heard it for a year or more now as campaigning for todays midterm elections began last fall: The party in power always loses seats during the midterm elections.
But will that happen today? When all is said and done, will Republicans suffer the same fate as Democrats did in 2010 and 2014?
Or will POTUS Donald Trumps madcap campaign pace keep the House and Senate red, as well as several gubernatorial races around the country?

Never has any President done more to drag his party, kicking and screaming, across the finish line to electoral victory.
Pundits and talking heads will be stunned tonight..............2016 deja vu all over again, only even worse!............
If anything like that “blue wave” were to occur (it won’t) the MSM would report: “A historic defeat of Trump. This is the tipping point. This is the beginning of the end.”
But when the red wave appears, the MSM will report: “Mid-terms are usually unpredictable, and this one is no different.”
From your lips to Gods ears.
Were told Democrats have it in the bag. Well see.
Yes, Trump will carry their sorry @SSES Over the finish line!
Two times now...
Red Badger from your lips to Gods ears!!!!!
I think we all need to engage in a little drinking game this evening.
Assuming all goes well and we really will be looking at a Red Wave, I think that we need to down a shot every time some talking head utters the word “racist”.
I suppose I’ll be asleep under the table within fifteen minutes.
How can you be so sure?
You nailed it
The problem for the MSM is if the DEMs don’t take control of at least the House, they’ve set up Trump as a force they can’t overcome. Please let it happen (GOP retains the House).
One thing’s for sure.
That Trump add featuring the Mexican cop killer scared the bejeebers out of Democrats. They could not pressure NBC, Fox and Facebook to make it go away fast enough. Dems and RINO’s telling Trump to talk about the economy and not immigration.
I think he landed a bullseye.
“impossible victory”
Kinda like Trump becoming president?
“Never has any President done more to drag his party, kicking and screaming, across the finish line to electoral victory.”
I could not agree more. GO TRUMP GO
The left is going to be stunned and crushed after today.
better them...than us
The best argument for an unexpected GOP victory tonight is that President Trump's remarkable campaign effort energized his personal following to come out and vote Republican, with the traditional GOP base already motivated to vote by the Senate Democrats' mistreatment of Kavanaugh and the provocative, hostile conduct of so many Democrats toward Republicans. Such effects escape traditional polling models, so they tend to be missed until the results come in as an election night surprise.
