It is my birthday today, so I get to post the live thread. :)
Some places to watch:

Happy B-Day, Laz. I turned 840 months old on Halloween.
Mr. RightField and I voted by mail in FL a couple of weeks ago. Straight R (although we'll still be saddled with that idiot Crist for our Congressman). Personally, however, we're heartened that our daughter, a liberal in CA, told us that she's voting straight R this year, even though she thinks it won't matter. Wouldn't it be nice if hundreds of thousands of Californians did the same thing? We can dream, right? At least she's not being totally blinded by the liberal lunacy any more.

Yes you will keep the "thread" going "as is" ---- meaningless drool!
______
Jim, Rose, and a couple others find your lame thread vacuous and meaningless each day.
You ought to be ashamed of your tripe .......... but you are not.
You most likely never met at 'Dean Diamonds' and other places around Pittsburgh with Jim and Rose back in the days for their 'THINK TANKS'. BUMMER!
Oh how I WISH you could say more!!
Are you referring to FL House races here, or both the governor's and Senate races? I'm particularly worried about the DeSantis-Gillum race...
Take it from a l o n g-time NH resident; Dixville Notch is full of leftist loons. Hildabeast won there in 2016, so don’t use it as any kind of “bell weather”.
“Iron Range turning Red?”
Partially. They seem to be voting GOP for President and Congress but we’ll have to see if they continue to move on by voting for GOP candidates at the lower levels.
If its not R+, slit your wrist and jump off the bridge.
Cool. Red Tsunami Bump
I would agree that she has met her Waterloo this time, but I am reluctant to count her out entirely. She has more lives than a cat.
DAY-um Laz. Just found out about this thread. This will be my WEBZ lurk spot for the rest of today.
Of course...I’m here for the bewbs. Belly-button girl?
Happy Happy Birthday.
I am sending you very red wishes for the best birthday ever!
Voted just after 8 am at my polling place in York County, VA (2nd Congressional district). Line was out the door, but not quite as long as 2016. Solidly Republican area, even after the court-ordered redistricting in 2016. I was voter #520, two hours after polls opened. People in line were older (median age 45+), definitely not Democrat voters.
And, as I posted on another thread, with VA holding its governor and legislative races in odd years, we have a very limited ballot. Non-competitive Senate race; the Congressional race (Scott Taylor versus Pelosi sock puppet wannabe Elaine Luria), a county treasurer’s race and two ballot initiatives. Strong turnout for such a “light” ballot, and definitely favoring GOP.
This is what Pat Caddell said, that she always looks to be “in trouble” then always polls ahead.
This is unprecedented turnout for us. This matches the results of my GOTV phone calls in my precinct (West Saint Marys). I was able to complete 486 calls in the precinct. That is I spoke with or left messages for roughly a third of the registered voters.
The enthusiasm is through the roof. I only got 3 even remotely hostile receptions and only 2 hang-ups. WOW! Even the Democrats I called in error were polite.
Wow, very interesting! Bravo to you for your hard work in GOTV.
Here in The People's Republik of Connecticut: Imagine the polar opposite when calling voters: For promoting a Republican ticket, you would get overwhelmingly hostile, profanity-laced receptions and a ton of hang-ups here.
However... our Republican candidate for Governor (Bob Stefanowski) actually has a decent shot to win. We'll see.
We almost elected a Republican governor in 2010, until the corrupt CT democRATs cranked up their Voter Fraud Machine at the 11th hour. We ended up with the worst governor in state history, Dannel P. Malloy, for 8 long, miserable years.
Malloy is, however, to the right of Stacy Abrams and Andrew Gillum. God help Georgia and/or Florida if either of those two Marxists win tonight.
Who hoo LS!
Thank you so much!!
Out here in Houston, the most comical ad is a cartoonish ad showing space aliens from Jupiter chasing Republican John Culberson in their spaceship. Culberson chairs the House Science Committee, and the ad says he put funding for Europa ahead of flood protections, and Lizzie Fletcher will put humans first.
The ad is trying to tie a committee vote from 2014 with the flooding from Hurricane Harvey, which happened in 2017.

What do you think of Indiana?
I am afraid that Donnelly will win in the end.
Dems paying to run ads for the crazy libertarian chick, and millions of dollars of ads saying that Braun wants to end Medicare and pre-existing conditions ( he doesnt, they lied) will have a big effect, I fear
