Sleep well, beachie.
Have a good day tomorrow. I hope your pooch’s leg feels better SOON. It’s no fun seeing our pets having a rough time.

Yes, much cooler. Highs in the low 80s.
Working on a fundraising letter for our group. The private sector rail people from Miami and New York plan to drop in on us in the spring.

Howdy, radu! How did your day of sorting through the goodies go? Did the weather cooperate at all? Did you find some things you want to take home with you? :)
It was chilly here but no storms. Coal is back with her siblings and seems fine. She’s not as loving today as she was when she was alone in the garage. She seems to be feeling good, though.

Catching Foxes
November 2, 2018
Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards.
Song of Solomon 2:15
While talking on the phone with a friend who lives by the seaside, I expressed delight at hearing seagulls squawking. Vile creatures, she responded, for to her theyre a daily menace. As a Londoner, I feel the same way about foxes. I find them not cute animals but roaming creatures that leave smelly messes in their wake.
Foxes appear in the love poetry of the Song of Solomon, an Old Testament book that reveals the love between a husband and wife and, some commentators believe, between God and His people. The bride warns about little foxes, asking her bridegroom to catch them (2:15). For foxes, hungry for the vineyards grapes, could tear the tender plants apart. As the bride looks forward to their married life together, she doesnt want vermin disturbing their covenant of love.
How can foxes disturb our relationship with God? For me, when I say yes to too many requests, I can become overwhelmed and unpleasant. Or when I witness relational conflict, I can be tempted to despair or anger. As I ask the Lord to limit the effect of these foxesthose Ive let in through an open gate or those that have snuck inI gain in trust of and love for God as I sense His loving presence and direction.
How about you? How can you seek Gods help from anything keeping you from Him?
Lord God, You are powerful and You are good. Please protect my relationship with You, keeping out anything that would take my eyes off You.
God can guard our relationship with Him.
Although the author is not specifically named, Song of Songs is traditionally attributed to Solomon, who is mentioned in 1:1, 5; 3:7, 9, 11; 8:11, 12 and who is referred to as King Solomon in 3:911. Therefore, this book is also called The Song of Solomon. Solomon composed 1,005 songs (1 Kings 4:32), but this song is deemed to be the besthence the appropriate title Solomons Song of Songs (1:1). It is one of two biblical books (the other is Esther) where God isnt mentioned explicitly. Some interpret Song of Songs as an allegory of Christs love for the church; others consider it to be a poem describing the romance and relationship of two passionate lovers. Rich in nature metaphorsYour eyes are doves (1:15); My beloved is like a gazelle (2:9); The little foxes that ruin the vineyards (v. 15)the song celebrates sexual love and physical intimacy within the bonds of marriage (4:85:1). Together husband and wife wield out the foxes (2:15), removing anything that threatens their loving union or hurts the exclusivity of their marriage.

Howdy, LUV!
I’m still here. Was watching the latest PV video .... OMG!
It was a butt-buster day but we got everything set out and priced today. It rained pretty hard until a little after noon, the gave us a break. It was windy but warm until a stripe of rain came through around suppertime, and now the temp is dropping. Tomorrow will be dry but about 20 degrees cooler than today.
Glad to hear Coal is doing so well. Maybe she’ll get lovey again after a day or two. She needs to get her ya-yas out after being cooped up. LOL

Cool! I hope nothing messes up your plans to head out to the gun range this weekend. I know you two enjoy it and you DO need to try out that new ‘toy’. :-)
One thing that isn’t up is my energy level. LOL! Getting up early HURTS and there are still two more days of it ahead. I’m glad we only hold this rummage sale once a year.
The good thing is that extra hour of sleep Sunday. I’ll NEED it after this!

The one about Beto? I was just watching it, too. Tried to post it, but the source is obviously banned from posting here. So....phooey! LOL!
Glad you got so much done. You’ll be all ready for the crowds and I hope good weather returns so it will be hugely successful!

I found it here. Don’t know what source you were trying to use but it’s already posted any way so it doesn’t matter.
We HAD to get it all done today because it’ll be too busy to do it tomorrow. The weather will be dry but quite a bit cooler than today. It’ll be a little warmer Sat., which will be nice.
I’m ready for Sunday and sleeping in. LOL

I had one in high school, but it was a full blood seal point and had that lean Siamese look, the Siamese yowl. And was very ornery. LOL! This one is part tabby. I guess you can tell because of the stripes on her forehead.
