WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday the United States could send as many as 15,000 military troops to the border with Mexico, as he hardens his stance against a caravan of migrants fleeing violence and poverty in Central America. The Pentagon has said it has identified about 7,000 active-duty troops, including about 2,000 on standby, that could be deployed to the southern border.

Move the 1st Infantry Division to the border, permanently. The Indian Wars are over and the beautiful corn in Kansas is tremendously safe. The garrison at Fort Riley is out-dated thinking.

Fleeing poverty doesn’t give one Refugee status. And I think they are taking the violence with them. Their home countries can’t be that bad if they are taking huge flags from there. They obviously don’t care about our country. Except for the free stuff.
There’s a lot of pushback on this video - they say tanks are not used for crowd control so the video must be fake.
I hope it’s true and that the invaders will be looking down the barrels of those M1A1 Abrams when they reach the border.
But I just hope that there’s not another Tiananmen Square stand off moment...
OT: When my girlfriend was younger and still lived in Beijing (she’s now a Republican American citizen), she rode her bike past Tiananmen Square the day after the confrontation. She couldn’t get close because the army had blocked off access far from the square. But she could still smell the burning human flesh.

The military can set up tent cities with life support, and then surge to wherever they cross, to set up cattle chutes to bring them into line for tagging, and put them on the bus.
