Babies rarely are born both male and female, but even then, only two genders exist.
In those rare cases, check both boxes, but only based on biology.
Also, surgery to remove body parts without a real medical reason should be a crime.

Not exactly, since some hermaphrodites are born with both sets, some have a penis, but also ovaries and sometime even sort of a uterus.

Even the poor souls who happen to have absorbed their opposite sex fraternal twin and have both male and female genitalia are not true hermaphrodite because either one or both of the genitalia will be nonfunctional.
If you have enough estrogen for the female genitalia to develop and function normally you have too much for the male genitalia to develop and function normally and vise versa.

A person who absorbed their opposite sex fraternal twin might have the appearance of a hermaphrodite but they are not as it is impossible for both sets of sexual organs to be developed and functional.
And both sets being present and functional are required for a true hermaphrodite.
Genders are for plants and Latin languages. The sexes are male and female. Don’t submit to linguistic activism. Linguistic activists behind dictionary definitions are man-haters and queers.

The poor child that I knew, long ago, had many other things wrong with it; however, it truly was a for real hermaphrodite! And that whole "absorbtion" story is just a myth.
And then there was Christine Jorgensen who was outwardly born male, but at puberty developed female secondary characteristics ( breast development, lack of male facial and body hair, etc. )without anything that you claim to be factual, but isn't.

The problem is that you use the word gender... you should always refer to “sex” which has a biological definition of either male or female.
That is what should be put on drivers licenses. Not gender. Gender is what you do in the bedroom and has no place in public affairs.
IMHO, the error was letting this get started in the first place. nobama’s destruction will take years to repair. But repair it we will, step by step. This is a step.
From Adam and Eve, people have had XX or XY DNA. Period. Nothing can change that.
