Lesley Stahl’s interview with Trump was an undeniable get; he’d been scarce on mainstream media since around the time he appeared on tape with NBC’s Lester Holt and indicated he’d fired former FBI Director James Comey in part due to the Russia investigation.
But the interview seemed governed by two motives, both of which played into the hands of a media-savvy President whose refusal to play by typical rules of engagement has been at the center of his rise.

60 minutes??? Is that rag still on??? I thought it went down when Mike Wallace bit the dust!!! I hated that show way back when it came on, watched it maybe three or four times when it first came on the air decades ago, and stopped. I hated Mikey Wallace and all the other stinking whining liberals on the show.

I didn’t watch the whole interview, but from the few minutes I watched, he really got her good. She was rude, and he rattled her. I’m surprised they didn’t edit it out, but I’m betting if they had taken out every hit he got in, there wouldn’t have been enough tape left to show.
Trump made his chops dealing with New York construction workers, plumbers, union bosses and other toughs. What makes her think SHE could get the best of him?
She wasn’t just outmatched.

As a bonus, the people hyperventilating over this issue refuse to acknowledge the information that Kashoggi was not just a "journalist", he was a Muslim Brotherhood operative embedded in the Post as a journalist while working to overthrow the Saudi government and add Saudi Arabia to the worldwide "Arab Spring" terror supporting movement.

Just finished watching and yes she was terribly rude and confrontational. I just love how she tries to ask him why he didn’t try to broker peace with the other side as though Obama went out of HIS way to get along with Republicans. And then she was surprised that he didn’t just knee jerk agree with her that Ford was telling the truth.
As far as Kashoggi I don’t really care. Not our business or problem.
My problem is how we seem to be the lackeys of the Saudis. The way GWB rushed the family onto planes on 911. What on earth do they need the hundreds of billions they spend on tanks on air craft? For what? Do they even have pilots to fly those planes? How useful are planes and tanks against a coup from Wahhabis if that day ever comes?

In his book “Airplane” Michael Creighton wrote in a “60 Minuets” type character that was to interview the protagonist. A specialist coached her on the 60 min interview technique and how to counter it....Creighton was spot on and Trump countered Stahl perfectly. The MSM doesn’t like it when the tables are turned!
