The young Saudi Prince Salman, who is trying to change/reform those things you mention in Saudi Arabia itself, should now be thrown under the bus by ignorant Americans who can't understand he's fighting a similar battle with the old line Saudi terrorist-funding Wahhabi establishment as Trump is fighting with our war mongering neocon globalist establishment here? Talk about shooting ourselves in the foot.
As a bonus, the people hyperventilating over this issue refuse to acknowledge the information that Kashoggi was not just a "journalist", he was a Muslim Brotherhood operative embedded in the Post as a journalist while working to overthrow the Saudi government and add Saudi Arabia to the worldwide "Arab Spring" terror supporting movement.
People need to learn to resist the knee-jerk virtue signaling and connect the dots. As Charlie Brown used to say "Good grief!"
As far as Kashoggi I don’t really care. Not our business or problem.
My problem is how we seem to be the lackeys of the Saudis. The way GWB rushed the family onto planes on 911. What on earth do they need the hundreds of billions they spend on tanks on air craft? For what? Do they even have pilots to fly those planes? How useful are planes and tanks against a coup from Wahhabis if that day ever comes?
I hope you are right about the Prince, because so far the Saudis have always been duplicitous.
We know how to interpret the Goebblesmedia: if something happens that it thinks is bad, it is a near certainty that it is good. If something happens it thinks is good, it is a near certainty that it is bad.
