Donna Shalala may be in trouble.
Shalala, a Democrat running in a district that President Donald Trump lost by nearly 20 percentage points in 2016, is trailing Republican TV journalist Maria Elvira Salazar by 2 percentage points in a Mason Dixon-Telemundo 51 poll. The independent polls margin of error was 4 percentage points and included a pro-Trump non-party candidate who could siphon votes from Salazar.
...
Shalalas campaign noted that Trumps approval ratings in the district in the poll are much higher than expected ...
Its difficult for our campaign to accept that this is the only congressional district in the country that Trump is becoming dramatically more popular, Hernandez said.

The Dems know how to cheat at the ballot box. The polls don’t really effect the outcome when the dems “always” are allowed to show up at the last minute with misplaced ballots in someones trunk....

Who let her out of the Shady Oaks Assisted Living? They usually have an 8 foot fence to keep residents from wandering.

Weather, both locally and regionally, is a function of climate. Climate defines weather.
If we honestly say that “no one can control the weather”, why do we honestly say that we can “change” the climate?

It couldn’t be that the 2016 election results were in error, could it?
Who would think it, and in Florida land of the hanging chads.

Every time I hear this woman's name, I can't help but hear in my head Rush Limbaugh imitating Eric Clapton, singing "Sha-lay-la."
I listened to a lot of Rush in the '90s.

Who would you vote for to represent your district? Shalala, the sight of her makes you cringe or this woman, the sight of whom releases the endorphins...

I love it when a Democrat is losing because of identity politics.
Donna should have changed her name to Beto.

I didn’t know that came from Rush! I heard it from a friend of mine, and I thought he made it up. I’ve been singing it for about 25 years every time I heard her name.
