The husband of Fox and Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt filed for divorce on Wednesday just a day after she announced the couples separation amid claims that he had an affair, The Post has learned.
William Proctor brought the contested proceeding to Manhattan Supreme Court, meaning he expects a fight over money or custody of their 2-year-old daughter.
I am devastated about this situation and did not envision this for the future of our family, he told The Post.
Earhardt, 42, and Proctor, 34, married six years ago.

That probably was his intention.
I married a gal 6 years older than myself. 55 years later, it’s still as good as it gets.
On some of the posts. Don’t know how accurate they are, but it certainly is a possibility in this day & age.
As my Divorce Lawyer said “It is a good day when both sides have a bad day at Family Court”
Maybe the friend brought him to bare.
Has the husband admitted to having an affair, or is Ainsley simply claiming there was an affair for leverage in the divorce?
That I don’t know. As far as I know she is claiming, though I do not see where he denies it.
The bottom line: Men struggle when the wife is the breadwinner.

While this is true, I don’t think its the case here. She married him 6 years ago . He’s 34 she’s 42. She got “played” by a gold digger is more likely. IMHO. He made his money off her and just got tired of her bullshit is my guess.
Did the article specify it was a woman?
He made her career.

” . . . with one of her close friends.”
None of my close male friends would ever do that. Why is it so different with women? I hear about this kind of thing happening to women all the time.
Nail on head
Men dont cheat over beauty
Some cheat for strange as they say
But its mostly wanting to have sex with someone who actually likes them
Remember, no matter how pretty she is there is a man out there who got tired of putting up with her sh!t, and her soon to be ex husband is that man.
Is that Shania Twain?
Seriously? He bailed on Twain?
I’ve dated model quality women, and the thing is looks aren’t everything.

My recipe for happiness over the last few decades: I found the woman who would love ME, and married her.
She might not make some FReepers Not Guilty list, but every day she puts in an effort to make me happy.
Well, that marriage of yours lasted much longer than most in the same circumstance. I would not suggest that women have a huge age gap with younger men. The evidence points to it not working out long term.
Someone else brought up the same question. I answered yeah I guess I am assuming too much here aren’t I. 8>)
