A Response to Biased Law Professors Against Kavanaugh
The Daily Caller ^ | October 5, 2018 | John R. Lott, Jr.

Posted on 10/07/2018 5:32:14 PM PDT by rogerantone1

Everybody is signing letters.

An opinion piece in yesterday’s New York Times points to 1,000 law school professors who signed a letter opposing Kavanaugh’s confirmation. More than 700 Harvard Law School alumni have demanded that Brett Kavanaugh no longer teach at their alma mater (he won’t be). 200 alumni from Christine Blasey Ford’s high school, Holton-Arms, declared their support for her. And 65 women who knew Brett Kavanaugh in high school testified to his good character.

It would be really easy to get 1,000 law school professors to sign off on the Communist Manifesto without any of them even realizing what it is.

An exchange I had with a friend who does not share my political leanings:

HIM——————————————————————————————————
Robert Post, the former Dean of Yale Law School, gave a very measured, carefully reasoned and apolitical argument. I’m sorry if you did not read it as carefully as it was written:
“I was in the end prompted to write this essay because, on Thursday, Kavanaugh published a remarkable op-ed in the Wall Street Journal in which he apologized for his rash words and attempted to reclaim for himself the “independence and impartiality” so necessary for judges. But judicial temperament is not like a mask that can be put on or taken off at will. Judicial temperament is more than skin-deep. It is part of the DNA of a person, as is well illustrated by Merrick Garland, who never once descended to the partisan rancor of Kavanaugh, despite the Senate’s refusal even to dignify his nomination with a hearing.”

ME-——————————————————————————————————
If someone falsely accused you of sexual assault, drugging women, and — yes — even managing rape gangs, while you have carefully structured your entire life for a particular achievement, even as a teenager.... and you see these false accusations bandied about in a biased and unfair press as hard facts.... would you not lose your ‘judicial temperament’ and lash out at those who sought to sully your good name and destroy your lifetime of achievement?

Hell, I give the guy credit for merely using harsh words, and not smuggling a pistol into the hearings.

He was righteously angry. And, as you know from your own life, and I mine, anger passes, and reason returns.

If you and I — lesser men of smaller achievements — can do this, why do you doubt that another man of greater achievement than both of us combined, can do the same?

To make an impeachment removal effort worthwhile (for more than show) would have to imagine that 2/3 of the Senate would vote for his removal. With a majority of the Senators having just voted FOR him would truly have to come with as-yet (even through 7 FBI investigations) uncovered evidence that he’s unfit as a SCOTUS associate justice.

That effort looks not at all likely worth taking up with what is presently known. Given the favor K’s being on SCOTUS represents to the Bush/RINO/Never-Trumper/Deep State group should make K’s impeachment+removal a very-close-to-0% proposition.

That just shows that 1,000 law professors don’t believe in innocent until proven guilty.

Must be what they’re teaching in law school now days. Who needs a stinkin’ Bill of Rights anyway? Not Democrats and other lunatic liberals.

Not to worry. The Kavanaugh’s daughters were never going to attend Holton Arms.

Only time I took issue was when he asked the senator if she ever blacked out and what she drank. He did apologize later. Grassly should have insisted in a few breaks as with Ford.

If you want to learn about the legal philosophy of Harvard Law graduates (or Yale for that matter) look at how Nazi Germany courts dealt with the conspirators of the plot to assassinate Herr Hitler. Verdict first, then a trial.

This explains why the Democrat Party and the Commie partners in crime including the Press are so upset that Kavanaugh now represents the 5th sold Constitutional Justice on the Supreme Court. They are so screwed, unless they can manage to win an election. Since they started their current losing streak once Barack won his first election, they are looking like the Baltimore Orioles rather than the Boston Red Sox.

You can easily get a lot of liberals to agree to 16 of the 25 points of the platform of the National Socialist German Workers Party. With some minor changes you can pick up a few more of the points.

The Democrats expected Kavanaugh to prostate himself in front of the Inquisitors and beg for forgiveness. Of course, he is a very smart man, and he understood that if he had done this, the Democrat Inquisition would thrown him on the rack and then surrounded him with faggots (the wooden kind) and set him alight. Instead, he had the audacity to defend himself against baseless accusations. This is an unforgivable offense.

He and Trump have shown that we can stand up to these phonies and we can crush them, something that the Never Trumpers could never have and never will do.
