Whats going on now: Senators mostly Democrats, who have said they plan to use the 30 hours of debate granted by the cloture motion have been delivering speeches to a nearly empty chamber since midday Friday. The speeches will likely continue through Saturday, up until the call for the vote on Kavanaughs nomination.
What time: The vote will come at the end of the 30-hour period that began on Friday at 10:52 a.m. EDT. The vote is expected to be taken sometime between 4:45 p.m. and 5 p.m. EDT.
What channel: Cable news networks and network channels will be broadcasting the Senate vote on Kavanaughs nomination. You can also watch the vote on C-SPAN 2.
Livestream: You can watch the Senate livestream by clicking here.
What has to happen for Kavanaugh to be confirmed: If no senator changes his or her cloture vote, then Kavanaugh will be confirmed by a vote of 51-49.
Sen. Steve Daines, R-Montana, will be attending his daughters wedding on Saturday in Montana, so, unless his vote is needed for the nomination to pass, he may not return to Washington to vote.
If no senator changes his or her cloture vote and Daines does not return to vote, the vote would likely be 50-49.
[There is nothing else to pull.]
Yeah, I guess.
Trump could have them pull his finger. LOL
Are the blackmail files being opened at DNC bunker headquarters?
Comrade Hellry’s 900+ FIB files may be in play as their Hail Mary attempt to stop Justice Kav....
The devolution of the Democrat Party....
DNC —> CPUSA —> ISIS —> satan
They could hold the vote until around midnight, after the bride and groom have made their honeymoon escape.
Mrs. Daines could fly with him, in case she's a bit led-down after the wedding festivities.
I’ll believe it when I see the final tally, if there is one. Not surprised if they try more obstacles.
Would Demonic-rats risk forcing Daine to miss his daughter’s wedding to make a quorum? That would make them seem even more terrible. And if Trump stealthily flew in to walk the bride down the aisle, he would look like the hero of the moment. Then Kavanaugh would be approved, the daughter would have an amazing tale to tell, and Daine and his daughter would also be hailed as great patriots by those who matter.
A girl can dream, can’t she?
I’m sitting here at the house waiting for another Dem operative to come up my driveway (it’s long) to ask me to vote for Beto. Going to tell it my non-genetically modified 12ga double-barreled shotgun said to get off of the property AND never come back and I’m just passing along what my shotgun told me.
:) no problem. been a long week for all of us who want this to end the right way.
It is a vote trade off ....She will vote present as her vote would have been no to allow Daines to walk down the aisle with his daughter . His vote would have been yes.
She dare not vote no after announcing her intention.
Though this is rare...it has been done in the past to accommodate another Senator who must be absent.
The Wisconsin rat legislators walked across the Illinois border about eight years ago.
As their union masters directed.
Amen to all that. I would not doubt that there may be some more dirty tricks.
I’m monitoring Fox News.
That IDIOT female, live from D.C. reports breathlessly that she has no encountered even ONE pro-Kavanaugh protestor today.
WELL, DUHHHHHH! Just WHAT would a pro-Kavanaugh person HAVE to protest?
Watching debate live now.
Should be easy to find on youtube.
Yap...I will never forget McCain’s last minute vote on repealing Obamacare.
She probably doesn’t even know what “protest” means.
Journalism today.
.
Not likely. Capitol Police answer directly and only to Congress and have jurisdiction anywhere controlled by the USA where a Congressman is found.
Senators can be physically restrained and carried to the Senate floor.
Ask Sen. Packwood:

And in four years she'll claim she didn't vote no which the RINOs will tout as proof of her independent spirit answering to neither side.
When he is confirmed how long before he is sworn in?
