Would Demonic-rats risk forcing Daine to miss his daughter’s wedding to make a quorum? That would make them seem even more terrible. And if Trump stealthily flew in to walk the bride down the aisle, he would look like the hero of the moment. Then Kavanaugh would be approved, the daughter would have an amazing tale to tell, and Daine and his daughter would also be hailed as great patriots by those who matter.

In none of this speculation does the daughter get considered at all. Does anybody seriously think that Daine's daughter would allow her wedding to be ruined should Kavanaugh not get confirmed on account of her father missing the vote? Can you imagine the mood at the reception should news filter in from Washington that Kavanaugh was not confirmed on account of Daines not being there? How much fun would the wedding be? Daddy would be there to dance with her but it would be a glum affair. For the rest of her life, memories of her wedding day would be tarnished.
Even if Kavanaugh's daughter was a liberal, who wants that?
I'm sure that things have been worked out where Daines can cast his vote and participate in the wedding. Timetables can be shifted around a little to accommodate Daines getting to Washington to cast his vote. When the voting starts in DC around 4:30, it will be still 2:30 in Montana. A quick vote and a three hour flight can get Daines to the reception by around 6PM local time.
Now that will make for some memorable wedding memories. What a joyous occasion it will be for all involved. Not only for those at the wedding but for the rest of the nation as well.
