You’re welcome to stand on your prediction. I’m going to sit or kneel and pray. May the Lord God watch over this country and spare us from further harm. Either way the vote goes, may the Lord God find ‘10 good men,’ within our country.

Figure she’s gonna pull a Kerry, i.e., so she can say she voted for him before she voted against him?

Wonder if Manchin (and perhaps Murkowski) is trying to play both sides - Yes on cloture, No on the Saturday up/down?

If so.. It’s a stupid move. Voters are paying attention to the final vote.

“How about a compromise? We give Alaska back to Russia (minus ANWAR) and divide California into 2 States (Northern/Southern California). We can call it the CalAska Compromise and we get to keep the flag with 50 stars.”

What is going on in the Senate right now? Why are they milling around? Will there be another vote?

I’m equally concerned. If she voted yes this morning, why is there a need for a 3 pm announcement. In the past a vote to move to a final vote, seldom changes...If we see an yes vote here, we should see one tomorrow.

The dems will threaten Manchin with everything they have on him, on every financial pressure they can muster.. he will fold

What does that mean, it all comes down to Flake to end up at 50-50. His hatred of Trump is so intense, I’m sure he will screw him if it all comes down to him

What chances are there that Manchin flips parties after the election? It's been speculated before, and he's always resisted. I can't imagine the Democrats treat him very nicely, and there's no way they become the majority party next year.

The voters in West Virginia would probably accept the party switch easily.

Ed Rollins says his pac will work to unseat any republican voting Kavanaugh down. Let’s see.

“I remember her stealing an election with the help of RINOs and a corrupt prosecution of her opponent that was ultimately overturned.”

You’re confusing her with Democrat Mark Begich, who stole the 2008 Senate election from Senator Ted Stevens after the Obama U.S. Attorney hid evidence from Stevens’s defense and got a conviction (only to have the conviction thrown out after the election). Murkowski is the one who stole the 2010 Senate election from GOP nominee Joe Miller by running as a write-in a few months after losing the GOP primary (I guess that Alaska doesn’t have a sore-loser law) and then getting the elections division to count votes in which her name was misspelled. So she’s still pond scum, but she’s a different type of pond scum.

Whichever actual republican challenges Murkowski in 2022 - be it Joe Miller, SARAH or whoever - they have to beat the democrats who will join with RINOS to write her in like they did against Joe Miller before. It’s an ugly, ugly beast to defeat. Almost as ugly as Lisa Murkowski.

Well, they apparently sleep together, and the vote is not until tomorrow, so . . .

If Kavanaugh doesn't get confirmed tomorrow, President Trump should nominate him AGAIN and let the elections ride on that nomination.

He's already been attending rallies all over the country in the states where many of these Democrat A-holes are facing tough re-election races. He can go non-stop between now and Election Day.

In the meantime, let the details of the FBI report get laid out in public -- including the apparently outrageous findings that relate to Grassley's mysterious reference to Senators Feinstein and Hirohito in his last letter to Buzzy Ford's lawyers.

She hasn’t been a legitimate Republican since 2010. She was defeated in that primary and violated the law to wage a sore-loser campaign, which should’ve been shut down at once.

I am not surprised either. My gut instinct told me days ago she was going to do this.

Trump got 15% more votes than Clinton in Alaska, if Murky votes no, I will not be disappointed for she will have exposed just how out of the Republican mainstream she is and we can see her getting booted out of the Senate.

Yes, she got a lot of help from McConnell, Cornyn and the others. This is how she repays the favor. And, of course, we have another bill to pay because Jeff Sessions left the Senate to do a rotten job at Justice and he’s replaced by a New York liberal.
