Jones indicated Thursday night that he would not vote to confirm Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court, citing what he believed was Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's credible testimony that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when he was a high school student. Alabama's junior senator also suggested that the Senate Judiciary Committee's decision not to subpoena Kavanaugh friend Mark Judge, whom Ford said witnessed the incident, and the committee's failure to receive all relevant documents on Kavanaugh impacted his decision.

Now those AL Republicans who sat on their fannies, rather than vote for Judge Moore, are to blame. Otherwise, D. Jones would have likely lost the race.

Well Gee they should have thought of that before they voted him in! Why would ANYONE think for a second that a Democrat would do anything that helps Republicans..Doug Jones may have come from a red state but he’s still commie to the core

If Doug Jones votes no, his political career is over.

He's not up for reelection for two more years, an eternity in politics.
