For the past several weeks, Democrats and their liberal media allies have publicly excoriated Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh over a number of uncorroborated allegations and unverifiable rumors of criminal wrongdoing, essentially convicting and sentencing him to political death in the court of public opinion.
Obviously intent on derailing Kavanaugh’s nomination by creating a massive public outcry and rendering him toxic to moderate Republicans, Democrats had no problems whatsoever in publicly discussing every sordid detail of the allegations and smears hurled at the previously spotless nominee.
Yet in spite of the blatant attempts to assassinate his character and destroy him politically, Kavanaugh managed to clear the Senate Judiciary Committee on Friday, with the condition that the FBI open a limited investigation into the several allegations lodged against him.
All indications thus far from that investigation suggest that nothing new will be found to stop Kavanaugh from being confirmed, and now Democrats suddenly want to ensure that any new information discovered about Kavanaugh is kept secret so only members of the Senate and select staffers will be permitted to see what the FBI produces after concluding the probe.

McConnell has already said it will be kept strictly confidential for the senators eyes only. One can assume certain key staffers will also have access.

As it becomes rapidly apparent the Democrat party is in essence merging with the Democratic Socialists of America, one wonders how for how much longer the Republicans will let them skate.
McConnell has an opportunity to restrain to some degree unfounded character assassinations simply by releasing the FBI report to the public. The report may well embarrass, or worse, those who file or swear to unsubstantiated claims, or the politicians who encourage and forward such claims.
Finestein apparently believes McConnell could or might release the report and moves that he does not. He has announced there will be no release.
Yep, they would like nothing better than to convict people on secret evidence.

Of course McConnell said the report would be handled in the usual way with only the committee members and a few staff being allowed to look at the report.

She should be barred from the committee considering the leak came from her or her staff. Let’s reward the leaker with a sealed report that she is entitled to read. Yeah we are that stupid.

(11) Kavanaugh might not be able find the “abortion rights” that are so plainly and clearly articulated in the fourteenth ammendment of the Constitution.
I don’t believe I am saying this, but I am SO looking forward to voting for Kevin De Leon.
