As an undergraduate student at Yale, Brett M. Kavanaugh was involved in an altercation at a local bar during which he was accused of throwing ice on another patron, according to a police report.
The incident, which occurred in September 1985 during Mr. Kavanaughs junior year, resulted in Mr. Kavanaugh and four other men being questioned by the New Haven Police Department. Mr. Kavanaugh was not arrested, but the police report stated that a 21-year-old man accused Mr. Kavanaugh of throwing ice on him for some unknown reason.

He said that the altercation happened after a UB40 concert, when he and a group of people went to Demerys and were drinking pints. At one point, they were sitting near a man who, they thought, resembled Ali Campbell, the lead singer of UB40.
Were trying to figure out if its him, he said.
When the man noticed Mr. Ludington, Mr. Kavanaugh and the others looking at him, he objected and told them to stop it, adding an expletive, Mr. Ludington said.
Mr. Kavanaugh cursed, he said, and then threw his beer at the guy.
The guy swung at Brett, Mr. Ludington continued. At that point, Mr. Dudley took his beer and smashed it into the head of the guy, who by now had Brett in an embrace. I then tried to pull Chris back, and a bunch of other guys tried to pull the other guy back. I dont know what Brett was doing in the melee, but there was blood, there was glass, there was beer and there was some shouting, and the police showed up.

Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end, we'd sing and dance forever and a day...
Why would anyone think this wasn’t a part of a previous investigation? Backgrounders aren’t made public.
Ice is a lethal weapon, this is serious. Ice is a major government agency.
https://www.ice.gov/ for more information if you doubt me.
Anyone willing to abuse the power of the federal government to further their interest in a bar fight is unfit to be on the Supreme Court of the United States.
Vote No on Kavanaugh!
Was Ludngton questioned by the police as well he was part of the group so I guess he was too.
BK was probably trying to cool him off.
What a bunch of testosterone-deficient little bitches American males have become.
Oh NO!! He threw ice!! Impeach him!!
7-0 Chris Dudley is a good guy to have on your side.
Ya think maybe BK told Christine Balsey to “put some ice on it”?
Bar fight.... Now I’m REALLY starting to like this guy.
First they ignore you,
then they laugh at you,
next they attack you,
then you WIN.
I’m gettin’ older and about outta gas, but if this all comes down to it, I wanna be on the front line against these miserable seditious bastards.
At the moment, I can’t think of many better ways to go out.
(well, there’s one, but I’m gettin’ older and .. ;-)
Mr. Kavanaugh cursed, he said, and then threw his beer at the guy”
Was it ice or beer? If he drinks beer with ice in it that is criminal.

This is differnt than what Ludington said and this is from the police.
Ludington said Kavanaugh his the guy with a glass.
I think we need a delay until the FBI can question the ice.
Notice how in these stories the person telling the story always has some detail that is missing?
Here we have Chad, who apparently says he was there and saw Mr. Kavanaugh throw his beer - unlikely if you ask me, who wastes their beer like that? But then Chad doesn't know what Mr. Kavanaugh was doing seconds later. Why not? Forgot maybe, or just unwilling to tell the detail that would catch him as a liar?
“Brett M. Kavanaugh was involved in an altercation at a local bar during which he was accused of throwing ice on another patron”
OMG!!! He threw ice at someone!!! - as a college student nearly 40 years ago, so that MUST mean that today he is too horrible of a person to even be a dog catcher!! /sarc
By the standard the Dims are creating over Kavanaugh - via the press, via the leaks, via their words, none of the Dims in the Senate today would be eligible to get elected to the seats they now hold, and yet they want to judge - and want the public to judge - just Kavanaugh by that standard.
Way back in the 70’s when I was a bouncer at a Disco (Lord, I hate disco music)I was questioned by the Nashville PD several times and it went something like: ‘Did you hit this guy?, Yes, OK’. What’s the problem?
Imagine, there were snowflakes back then too.
