The incident, which occurred in September 1985 during Mr. Kavanaugh’s junior year, resulted in Mr. Kavanaugh and four other men being questioned by the New Haven Police Department. Mr. Kavanaugh was not arrested, but the police report stated that a 21-year-old man accused Mr. Kavanaugh of throwing ice on him “for some unknown reason.”
This is differnt than what Ludington said and this is from the police.

The guy who starts the bar fight always has some excuse, and it always includes them not knowing why the fight started.
Some clown started a fight with Kavanaugh and his buddies. And one of Kavanaugh's friends stopped it.
Chad Ludington probably ran, or hid in the ladies room.
We all owe the guy who stepped in to help Judge Kavanaugh a beer. After all, how many guys get to save a future Supreme Court justice from a bar fight?
