Lets not forget that those investigations are likely ongoing, and it is public that that the US Attorney in DC, Jessie K. Liu, had empaneled a Grand Jury, and obtained warrants for all the electronic communications of reporters involved in leaking. There was also a relatively long period of covert surveillance.
