To date, there have been no criminal reports filed with the Montgomery County Department of Police that would lead to the initiation of any criminal investigation related to Judge Kavanaugh. Furthermore, the law at the time the offense occurred is the law must be applied to any charges that might be brought. For example, in 1982, assault and attempted rape were both misdemeanors and subject to a one year statue of limitations.

Unless, they are investigating lying to the senate judiciary committee. That may be a federal crime. If not, you are correct.

It’s name ID in AK, where turnout is usually very low.
Much as I remember girls used to bypass the main party looking for cocaine in the back rooms. Girls would plan their attack and whomever got their free lines was a hopeful lay if a guy could keep supplies the dummy-dust. Coke seemed to appear out of no where with the disco scene but I can only imagine how much money some preppy kids back east shoveled that up their nose until they got a deviated septum or died.
“No Maryland law says you use the laws and SOL that were in place at the time.”
To clarify, what I meant was the constitutional prohibiting of ex post facto law applies, as the letter from the state attorney suggests, which is in agreement with your comment.
An interesting idea, but I don’t think so. He looked confused in pictures. Biden also had that quote that stated anyone still asking for a FBI investigstion doesn’t understand a thing.
Murkowsky and Collins seem in the same nonunderstanding boat.
lol
Am I reading this correctly? The old statute of limitations was one year and that is what would have to be applied to anything that happened at that time. Hence, the statute of limitations of one year has expired in Ford’s case....right?
(I’ve been traveling all day, don’t trust my eyes right now) Thanks
Right. (As I understand it.) People have to be tried under the rule of law that existed at the time of the event.
I don’t disagree with yours and others opinion.
Except we’e allowing ourselves to be bullied by corrupt manipulative power hungry Dems and their overt agenda to replace the Constitution with PC; sovereignty with globalism; and productive respectful law abiding citizens with third worlders who prefer dependence and anarchy. We need to match the left irrational anger with greater enthusiasm.
Thanks. It’s signed by the Mont. Co. Chief of Police and the State’s Attorney, I see now. (Found my glasses)
I have a repressed memory of getting married to a supermodel when I was 15 and she was 18. I remember it was the most joyous sex I ever had down to this day, even though I never mentioned it to my wife. None of the people I named as best man or bridesmaids remembers it, and I can’t remember the church. She should still have to give me daily BJs the rest of my life, right?
They can investigate any old thing, though, jurisdiction or no.
Current law cannot be applied ex-post facto to allegations about events that supposedly occurred in 1982.

Was she rushin up the stairwell? If so, then Mueller must investigate.
They’re not investigating the allegation. They’re interviewing people as part of his, amended background investigation.
