Cruz harrassed at fancy DC restaurant (WHICH RESTAURANT ??? )
SELF | 9/25/18 | self

The "fancy DC restaurant" remains unnamed in every story I've seen so far. Name and shame the place. Who's protecting them ? (rhetorical question) The media won't name the restaurant, thus encouraging more of this behaviour. I want to know.

Once known, we must shout it far and wide.

I have yet to see a restaurant like this which allows a large group to just waltz in w/o encountering a receptionist, a maitre de who would intervene “Do you have a reservation?”

Little weeotch answering the phone has the “I can’t speak to the Sen Cruz matter” down pat.

I told her I was planning a visit to DC, in the near future....and, that I wouldn’t book dinner reservations there, due to their obvious lack of security.

Great catch.

Where were the DC PD????

Wonder if they’ve been given stand down orders for any harassment/protesting of REPUBLICANS.

I’m guessing that the $115. at the restaurant was per person.

Instead of projecting possible guilt on the restaurant, The organization that actually did the assault should be addressed.

There is no indication whatsoever of involvement with the “protestors” by the restaurant, or any staff.

From the Dallas News:

“A Twitter account called “Smash Racism DC” claimed the protesters included “anti-fascist hooligans,” members of Resist This, Industrial Workers of the World, Democratic Socialists of America, and “anarchists, women, sexual assault survivors, and members of the LGBTQ community.””

Your misunderstanding of RINO Uniparty rent-a-mobs is... deadly.

Sure does seem that way :-(

Meanwhile.....where are the cries, from Republican leadership, for this harassment to STOP???

Have leadership contacted DC PD for answers as to why they aren’t arresting these paid thugs??

The restaurant staff or manager should have stepped in, defended their paying guest and kicked the 2 legged rubbishy group out the door. If nothing else why lose a customer that selects to do business at the restaurant?

Truth is, the event was over so quickly that had they been called at the moment of the first shout they wouldn't have arrived before the antifa thugs dispersed

They need to be shamed. Also fired. And threatened to the same extent that they threaten.

Actually, US Capitol Police can protect Congressmen anywhere, but especially in DC. Capitol Police answer directly to Congress. The US government is under siege by Leftist groups.

“I have yet to see a restaurant like this which allows a large group to just waltz in w/o encountering a receptionist, a maitre de who would intervene “Do you have a reservation?””

Do you think that these thugs would politely excuse themselves and meekly creep away, if the maitre de asked them to? Will a maitre de at a swanky restaurant instantly go hand to hand with an unruly guest, like a bouncer in a biker bar? Even if outnumbered 10 to 1?

They swarmed in as a crowd and started shouting. Restaurant staff were asking them to leave. The whole thing was over in minutes.

We should focus on the real perpetrators, and those who fund their organizations, rather than be distracted by the bystanders.

“The restaurant staff or manager should have stepped in, defended their paying guest and kicked the 2 legged rubbishy group out the door.”

If twenty people suddenly walk in to any store in the country without warning, ignoring requests to leave, it will realistically take more than three minutes to get police to arrive. They can not reasonably be expected to be the first to resort to physical force, especially when they are outnumbered by a mob.

But first the US Capitol Police, controlled by Congress need to fulfill their charter.

from their website:

"The United States Capitol Police (USCP) is a CALEA nationally-accredited, federal law enforcement agency. The USCP safeguards the Congress, Members of Congress, employees, visitors, and Congressional buildings and grounds from crime, disruption, and terrorism. We protect and secure Congress so it can fulfill its constitutional and legislative responsibilities in a safe, secure and open environment."

"We protect the legislative process, the symbol of our democracy, the people who carry out the process, and the millions of visitors who travel here to see democracy in action. We also protect everyone who visits the Capitol, who can see first‐hand how we work to represent the best of America's spirit and diversity."

It's difficult to believe that they don't have an intelligence unit monitoring know and possible threats to members of Congress. If the Department of Education has SWAT teams, why doesn't the USPC have plain clothes teams ready to respond.

In the 1960s in downtown Wash DC it was common on week end nights to see armed USN Shore Patrol units in jeeps cruise around bars frequented by servicemen.

Okay....but, they (Capitol Police) know who these Antifa thugs are....why are they not monitoring their whereabouts, in DC?

Easy to do on Twitter/SM.

Stay one step ahead of these paid thugs....that is, unless they’ve been told not to.

Are Capitol Police allowed to protect Congressmembers once they are OFF of govt property? And have gone to private property?

Where does their jurisdiction end?

“Additionally, they are charged with the protection of members of Congress, officers of Congress, and their families throughout the entire United States, its territories and possessions, and the District of Columbia. While performing protective functions, the Capitol Police have jurisdiction throughout the entire United States...”
