Do you think that these thugs would politely excuse themselves and meekly creep away, if the maitre de asked them to? Will a maitre de at a swanky restaurant instantly go hand to hand with an unruly guest, like a bouncer in a biker bar? Even if outnumbered 10 to 1?
They swarmed in as a crowd and started shouting. Restaurant staff were asking them to leave. The whole thing was over in minutes.
We should focus on the real perpetrators, and those who fund their organizations, rather than be distracted by the bystanders.
Who is blaming the restaurant? Not me.
How did they even know what table Cruz was at? Who told them?
I’m sorry, but you can’t tell me in Washington DC, of all places, restaurant management isn’t aware of these things and don’t have better processes in place to avoid them.
They deserve to go out of business. Plenty of other places where crap like this wouldn’t happen.
