Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz was chased out of a DC restaurant by protesters on Monday night, according to a video posted on Twitter.
The video was posted by “Smash Racism DC” and shows a large group of protesters chanting “We believe survivors” in reference to sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Sen. Cruz appeared to be with his wife, Heidi Cruz.
One video shows a protester confronting Sen. Cruz and his wife as they entered the restaurant. Sen. Cruz tells the woman “God bless you” as his wife took a seat at restaurant table.
After the protesters surround the table, Sen. Cruz tells Mrs. Cruz, “Let’s go ahead and go” and puts on his jacket to leave.

i thought it might be Fiola. It’s on Pennsylvania Ave and gets a lot of Congress people in. It is a very fine restaurant. I was there having a cocktail last summer when the obozos showed up and no one hassled them. Why the management allowed this to take place is beyond me.
You know, that's the silver lining. They hardly reproduce at all, compared to conservatives. It's because snowflakes tend to delay (normal) marriage, if it occurs, and get divorced a lot, which is bad on fertility.
It's true that Progressives have some capacity to reproduce through classroom infection, but parents with strong religious faith, patriotism, consistent and reasonable discipline, and generous affection most often immunize their children quite effectively--sometimes to their teachers' discomfort.

Over the past week, I've seen a *lot* of Ted Cruz yard signs pop up in my part of north Texas. Looks like some folks are throwing down the gauntlet. Perhaps the Kavanaugh hearings spectacle has a lot of people in a fighting mood (and not just here on FR).
This place needs to get The Red Hen treatment.

But they certainly should have body guards. The times, they are changing.
My former Congressman (I moved out of his district, he is still in Congress) has armed body guards. Of course he is Democrat. A very rich Democrat. His biggest risk appears to be from violent Leftists who criticize him for being "too moderate".
Some people just cannot take "yes" for an answer.
You just need to post some additional signs. They say: “If you can read this, you are in range.”
