I’m old enough to remember bumper strip political ads when they were ubiquitous as in the 1960 Nixon/Kennedy campaign. They have virtually vanished mainly because of vandalism by leftists to cars bearing ads for R candidates and issues. This has been a long-time trend a-building.

Over the past week, I've seen a *lot* of Ted Cruz yard signs pop up in my part of north Texas. Looks like some folks are throwing down the gauntlet. Perhaps the Kavanaugh hearings spectacle has a lot of people in a fighting mood (and not just here on FR).

Hope you are right, but I still fear the Democrats even though they haven’t won too much in TX for three decades now.
