Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh on Monday defended himself against the sexual assault allegations roiling his nomination by saying he was a virgin through high school and college.
"We’re talking about an allegation of sexual assault," Kavanaugh said in a clip released from his interview on Fox News Channel's "The Story with Martha MacCallum."
"I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone," Kavanaugh said. "I did not have sexual intercourse or anything close to sexual intercourse in high school or for many years thereafter ... The girls from the schools I went to, and I, were friends."
"Through all these years that were in question, you were a virgin?" Fox News host Martha MacCallum asked.
"That’s correct," Kavanaugh replied, adding that he did not have sex until "many years after" college.
Neither of the two accusations regarding Kavanaugh involve sexual intercourse. Christine Blasey Ford is alleging Kavanaugh held her down and groped her over her clothes during a high school party in 1982, and Deborah Ramirez claims he exposed himself without her consent during a gathering at Yale University a few years later.
Fox News released clips from the interview throughout the evening on Monday.
At another point in the interview, Kavanaugh vowed he is "not going anywhere" despite the allegations.
"I’m not going to let false accusations drive us out of this process," he said, sitting beside his wife as she nodded.
Kavanaugh during the interview denied attending the party in Ford's account.
"[I am] not questioning and have not questioned that perhaps Dr. Ford at some point in her life was sexually assaulted by someone at some place but what I know is I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone," he said.
Ford has stated that she is sure Kavanaugh was the man who allegedly assaulted her in an episode that she says has caused her decades of emotional trauma.
The full interview is scheduled to air at 7 p.m. EST.

Kavanaugh was PERFECT. He asserted his virginity, and he LOOKS LIKE a guy who could assert his abstinence in a very. believable. way.
He married a nice woman who could also assert her chasteness in a very. believable. way.
This is a devoted Catholic couple who passed this test. The Democrats Devil threw what he could at them, and they were blessed by the Lord's grace.

I don’t think Kavanaugh felt that comfortable answering personal questions.
That lack of comfort enhanced his credibility to me. In other words, he didn’t come off as someone who had rehearsed.

This brings to mind a remark made by a male co-worker many years ago when the office gang were talking about dating. He said that he wouldn’t trust going out with, nor marrying, a woman who didn’t have a “little” experience. He liked his women pre-tested to make sure their were suitable and had no inhibitions.

Ok, for the sake of argument lets assume that all the following are true:
1) She was sexually assaulted at a party in High School.
2) She was traumatized by it for decades.
3) And yet she could not consciously remember being sexually assaulted until 2012.
Why are we going to trust her traumatized highly tenuous memory on details like who assaulted her?
Romans Nine, gonna tell you something...so glad my 41 year old son isn’t reading this, although he’d just make a snarky comment about his mom’s inability to keep comments to herself. LOL As I mentioned, he’s 41. And still a virgin. Yep. And not from my teaching. Prior to becoming a Christian I was a terrible mom, terrible wife and just plain terrible, in some ways while ethical in others. Life is complicated, know what I mean? Anyway, I used to tell him (once I became a Christian) that I petitioned the Lord God to keep him from meeting a nice Christian girl because I didn’t want her to be bound to a non-Christian. When he accepted Christ, I told him that I could now petition the Lord for a Christian for him. LOL Back to the virgin issue. Even before he became a Christian, he had told me he was a virgin and intended to stay a virgin until he got married. I was shocked. Because of his honesty and because I knew the wisdom wasn’t from me, though I wish it was... He advised me that he could not ask God to provide him for a bride who was a virgin and saved herself for him if he did not do the same for her. YEA! So. He is engaged to a 26 year old Filipina whom his father’s side has vetted on a personal basis and we communicate while waiting for her to be approved to come to the US. Actually, he’s waiting for his employer to grant approval for him to marry her before he can do so. “It’s complicated,” as Pres Trump would say. I advised him if he needs to go to the PI to marry and be with this bride provided by the Lord then he has his mother’s approval. I am so glad your sons are going the way of the Lord’s instructions. As a mom who is still in awe of the strength it takes for a young man to do so, I am glad to see other young men doing it! And my future daughter-by-love is so happy to keep herself for her husband! Good for both of their spirits!

I thought the rumor was 54. There are at least two transcripts of the yearbook. If you search for 54 or 57 as numbers and various word versions and you will not find that claim.
I believe it was a tweet that was kind of "a guy told me that she told him.. blah, blah."
The yearbook is a bit racy but no sane yearbook moderator would allow that through. In fact, the yearbook companies learned to check back with adults before they went to print. There were cases where lawsuits were filed and the yearbook companies had to buy them back and replace them with new ones.
