Why are almost all of the Republicans missing in action?

What does that tell you?

Tells me that the Republicans "control" the White House, House of Representatives and the Senate but the Communists run the country.....!

We need to contact our representatives and tell them to vote because this circus is getting out of hand.

You should copy and paste this repeatedly on every thread where Freepers insist on posting these rants.

If you don't, I will. LOL.

What everyone has to remember is that when you are a Republican Senator and you're in a position where you have to accomplish something, the worst thing you can do is lose your discipline and go off on a tangent. That's why their focus has to be on the process -- both the confirmation process and the political process.

The Democrats don't have to worry about discipline -- and it shows. They are like the retarded drunk who insists on driving himself home with a BAC of .20 or more. Arguing with this moron doesn't do anything for you, and fighting with him will only end up hurting YOU in the long run.

Sometimes it's best to just give the guy his car keys -- and maybe even help him into the car.

I think this is exactly what Grassley and the Republicans did with the Buzzy Ford allegation, and that story is unraveling by the hour.

Just make sure you stay away from him once he starts driving down the road.

I realize this is going to sound so very tacky... I’m ready to mail little tiny marbles to each male GOP in the Judiciary Committee. It might help them.... Augh. My upbringing is showing....

Hopefully not, but losing that seat and having Sessions as AG is a double loss. Did anything ever happen with all those allegations against Moore? Seems kind of strange that women would come out of the woodwork against him, and then after his candidacy was successfully trashed they would just let it drop.

This is a new Salem Witch frenzy. Maybe not hanging, but if people know that they can sway a decision in the federal government, how long until your neighbor feels like smearing you and making you unemployable for some rediculous reason because they don’t like you?

People don’t see the full potential of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court could order a nationwide gun grab or nationwide immigration law abolition with the right people on the bench.

Believe half of what you hear in the media. Including FOX and DRUDGE.
Have Faith. This will play out but more going on then meets your eyes.
Be patient.

The Republicans need to use the hearings as an opportunity to slam the Dems for “collusion” to smear an honourable man. The Dem Senator from Hawaii is a raving lunatic who thinks that Kavanagh is not entitled to due process.

The best defense is the actual vote cast for seating him on the bench.

That’s all that really matters.

Why aren’t Republicans defending Brett Kavanuagh?

This is a case where "defending" him could ultimately give credibility to the accusations.

Don't defend him. Let the process play out.

Let any accuser who wants to make an allegation against Kavanaugh come forward and testify, or make the allegation in a sworn affidavit.

THEY WON'T. That's when the narrative changes completely.

Trump stands on the shore of the Rubicon right now.

It’s not just the disloyal Republicans. It’s the DOJ conspirators, the FBI/CIA action teams, the open calls for his removal by illegitimate means by members of the government and calls for his assassination by various entertainment personalities, speaking for God knows who.

He may quit. I know it’s not his nature, but he has to think about it.

Or, some morning, loyal troops may cross not the Rubicon but the Potomac, and your Twitter feed from @realDonaldTrump will say, “Alea Iacta Est”.

What makes Ford's case different is that she didn't just run to the Washington Post or New Yorker magazine. She wrote a letter to her U.S. Senator on the Judiciary Committee.

That's the only reason she has been given any accommodation here at all.

That's also why she can't come and testify before this committee. She has to sign a sworn statement before she can even walk in the room. Her lawyers are acting like they're still "negotiating terms of her testimony," but they already know she won't even do THAT.

“They know full well that this accusation is nothing but a Rat fabricated story, but if it appears as though they are insensitive to Ford or if they handle her roughly, they could alienate women voters in Nov.”

And the press is just waiting in the wings to pile on if the Republicans go negative on Ford. Probably already have the stories written.

Ha, ha. If feminists stop the freak show right now and make like a carpet for Judge Kavanaugh, maybe the President won’t appoint someone like Oliver Cromwell next.

;-D
