Judge Kavanaughs prospects were further clouded on Sunday when The New Yorker reported on a new allegation of sexual impropriety: A woman who went to Yale with Judge Kavanaugh said that, during a drunken dormitory party their freshman year, he exposed himself to her, thrust his penis into her face and caused her to touch it without her consent.
The Times had interviewed several dozen people over the past week in an attempt to corroborate her story, and could find no one with firsthand knowledge. Ms. Ramirez herself contacted former Yale classmates asking if they recalled the incident and told some of them that she could not be certain Mr. Kavanaugh was the one who exposed himself.

Does this seem like pushback by the Times against the New Yorker?
Good God she called other people who didn’t back her story up and she admitted she wasn’t sure it was Kavenaugh.
So Ms Ramirez went on an unsuccessful search for someone who would develop a memory to support her allegations. Disgusting!
the new yorker giving cover for all the other lying sleaze media to talk about the other lying bitch and her sleazy lawyer.
Accusing people of rape and assault deserves to be taken to court for defamation. Let these lying females show and give testimony in court.
This feels like a house of cards.
The NYSlimes imitates Pontius Pilate and washes its hands...
Well true. At least the NYT admitted they couldn’t find anyone.

women attacked the woman who went public after Aziz Ansari did this on their “first date” against her will (he ignored her repeated rejections and eventually succumbed to the pressure).

It appears that the Ramirez story is falling apart faster than Dr. Ford's

Her lawyer finally gave her the story. Sleazeballs.
Yeah wow! Just wow. I wonder what defamation suit against the New Yorker could proceed.
Anita Hill made specific and direct accusations under oath. Lets see if Ford or any of his accusers make a direct, specific accusation against Kavanaugh under oath. Kavanaugh is not the sort of man who will allow himself to be slandered and not retaliate forcefully.
The accusers must not be allowed to couch their testimony by saying “they believe it to be true”. Sure or not sure if they testify under oath and publicly spin fantasies, it is slander.
Yes indeed. Please let Flake, Collins and Murkowski see this for what it is...
Yep, all this nonsense comes down to the “Devil’s Triangle” of Flake, Collins and Murkowski. If they see through this B.S., it’s ultimately meaningless, but I fear they won’t.
This from he same crowd that endorsed people dressing up as giant female genitals at a protest, and even promoted the protest by getting all the women to wear knitted replica genitals on their heads.
Not to mention it’s the same bunch that get all giddy and supporting of pride parades where phallic imagery is everywhere.
I'll show you my subpoena if you show me yours...
...incidentally, is this going to cause Yale and the other Ivies to re-think "Sex Week" and such? Given that something that happens now could irrevocably derail and destroy a man's career 30-odd years later without warning, and (as we have seen) with nothing more than the bare (no pun intended) accusation, indeed, even with witnesses named by the ACCUSER, contradicting the account?
I tweeted them, hopefully they see this for what it is
Nods ruefully.
