1) More big breaking news, which further undercuts the Ford accusation, as well as media handling of it. A source has given me the email that WaPo reporter Emma Brown sent to Mark Judge, one person Ford claims was at the party. This email is dated Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018....
7) So first, huge problem: This was just a week ago, and we have Ford giving two different accounts of who was present. Four boys. No, three boys, one girl. Either way, therapist notes from 2012 definitively say four boys, which Ford didn't dispute. But now... a girl!
8) Other problem: WaPo's reporting. Reporter has for a week had the names of those Ford listed as present. One is a woman. Yet it writes a story saying FOUR BOYS. Why? Maybe a mistake. But if so, why did WaPo never correct that narrative?

Actually, it’s starting to look LESS like a setup than a Keystone Kops operation that is falling apart under even minimal scrutiny. Putting all these “witnesses” into the story just made it easier to blow holes in it. When your “corroborating witnesses” don’t corroborate your story, you look like a damn fool.
For that matter, couldn't something of the boys' emotional state have communicated itself to Keyser as well? And if it is two boys and two girls, was it some kind of double date then?
Blasey Ford is rather slighting of the other girl's memory and perceptiveness. She's the one who has trouble remembering when and where the event happened (if it did happen). Maybe Keyser was more present and observant.
Minor stylistic point: saying "other men" confused me as to whether Keyser was a man or a woman. That could easily have been avoided.
Also, the fact that Keyser's first name is apparently "Leland" doesn't make things easier.
P.S. Leland Keyser may have been Georgetown University's women's golf coach. If I wasn't another Leland Keyser ...

It was an obvious hoax from the get-go and everyone knows it.
Sort of. She was a party girl in high school. Somebody felt her up at one of those drunken parties. Maybe she thinks it was Kavanaugh. Maybe she is a nut ball and fabricated everything. Who knows. “It’s the seriousness of the charge, after all.”
Something like that. Ford probably believes her own story, and so do millions of other Trump haters.

The two met in 1990 on a golf course. At the time Leland turned out to be a Georgetown University golf coach who kicked his but during a game.
According to a 2001 Maryland Gazette profile of Leland, she was going to be a tennis player, but broke her wrist at age 14. While that ended her pro tennis dreams, she did play basketball, field hockey and lacrosse while in high school. A year after the injury, her grandmother introduced her to golf, which changed her life. She began to focus on the sport.
In 1983, she competed in the Mid-Atlantic Golf Association junior girls tournament and continued playing in college. she graduated from the University of Virginia in 1988 and turned pro in spring 1990. She competed on the Futures Tour, a step below the LPGA.
In the mid-1990s, she played as an amateur. In 1998, she played in the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship and was runner-up in the 1999 U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship.
As a coach for Georgetown, she was named Big East Coach of the Year in 2003. Both of her children have shown an interest for golf. She resigned from the coaching position in 2005.

I fully believe it...it’s the only plausible theory so far. I wondered if maybe he was threatened with libel so he apologized, but cooperating with the owner sort of makes sense. However, Garrett could be opening himself up to criminal liability if he admits to anything...you know those Dems are out for blood and will be looking for anything to save face if this doesn’t work as they hoped!

She told a friend she humped 54 men and boys before starting college as a freshman. Is there some reason that almost allegedly getting nailed by Kavenaugh was so unusually traumatic?
