TOOELE, Utah The owner of a female husky faces a slew of charges after the dog allegedly killed more than two dozen animals in the backyards of at least two Utah homes in just a couple of hours, according to KSTU.
Police caught the culprit a 4-year old husky and now her owner is facing nearly 30 misdemeanor charges.
One of the Tooele residents who lost several animals, Trip Kiss, runs a petting zoo with his wife to teach animal husbandry to children with disabilities. Chickens, ducks, peacocks, a turkey and a tortoise, are just a few of the zoo's residents.
In the early morning hours of Memorial Day, he said his motion sensors went off. When Kiss looked at the surveillance video, it showed a husky running around his yard and driveway. He said the husky was targeting his animals.
"He was chewing our goose that was at the back end there, he dug out the rabbits in their enclosure," Kiss explained.
In the video, Kiss said the Husky can be seen carrying away two rabbits. It trots out of the camera's view and into the dark.
When Kiss realized what was happening, he said the husky had already killed several of his animals.
"Two rabbits, two ducks, five chickens, a turkey, a goose," Kiss said.
He said the goose was specially trained.
"The goose was so friendly," Kiss said. "It would follow us around at Renaissance fairs, charities."

Holy crap. Is it rabid or something?
And killing animals and not people.
Geez
Should have shot it right then and there.
L
Yep.
My father-in-law took out his shotgun and killed his son’s dog, a mixed breed boxer type, that had killed a bunch of his chickens..............................
All that being said, I feel sorry for the dog owner, but this is all her fault. Even in the country, you have to control your animals.
Mackenzie Morton, 29, of Taylorsville, faces a total of six class C misdemeanor charges
One of them is for OWNING A DOG THAT BIT ANOTHER DOG
Fake News! Can’t possibly be true, this dog wasn’t a pit bull.
“Holy crap. Is it rabid or something?”
Perhaps it converted to Islam.
In Kansas, dogs that attack livestock may be shot. Unfortunately you can’t shoot rustlers anymore.
It spent too much time on the dark web watching wolf supremacist videos.
Pity. The great Roman jurist Ulpian as an aside said exposing rustlers to wild beasts in the arena wasn't harsh enough.
I used to have a Husky...more than once an opossum got into our fence, only to be nearly instantly killed by the husky. It also killed a bird once. It was actually a very friendly dog towards people, and even very submissive towards my neighbor’s Great Dane, but it seemed to think killing much smaller animals was a game. Hate to say it, but this dog was probably ‘playing’. For comparison, I’ve had dogs that killed squirrels, and they would carry them in their mouths to me - to show off I guess. The Husky, on the other hand, as soon as it kills an animal, it just moves on. It isn’t killing to impress the alpha, or to eat...its just playing.
You can shoot rustlers. Just don’t get caught.
I don't usually chuckle. But I chuckled.
Two huskies were who killed my cat who was peacefully sleeping on my balcony.
She shredded their ears but was too badly mauled to live.
The owner had the audacity to suggest that it was my fault for letting my cat out. Sure bub, my cat being out caused you to leave your gate open and your dogs travel two blocks to attack her.
He threatened to sue me as his dogs were show dogs.
I suggested we call animal control.
He suddenly became very quiet.
Well, it did find an Animal Snackbar
I would have so shot that dog.
