The woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault came forward with her explosive allegations on Sunday, saying the supposed attack "derailed me substantially for four or five years" and claiming that the episode rendered her "unable to have healthy relationships with men."
The woman, Christine Ford, is a professor at Palo Alto University, according to The Washington Post, which published her account on Sunday. Her decision to go public caps a whirlwhind week that began when Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., sent shockwaves through Washington by releasing a statement saying she turned over information about Kavanaugh from an anonymous accuser to the FBI.
Ford, a 51-year-old registered Democrat who has published in academic journals and trains students in clinical psychology, described the alleged incident on Sunday, saying it occurred at a Maryland house gathering. Ford claimed she headed upstairs to a bathroom when she was suddenly pushed onto a bed, as rock-and-roll music blared.

Blue dress, or it didn’t happen.
Have the GOP-E started to line up at the mics to say if it happened I could not support Judge Kavanaugh and I have no reason not to believe the woman. This is less Clarence Thomas and more Roy Moore.
You know how to put a stop this bs?...have Those 65 women hold a press conference to support him and call her out! We need dirt on the Bitch from HS!! Any guys that had her in HS! ASAP!!
This is war. She and her Rat handlers need to be destroyed. The price she should pay must be so high that it will discourage anyone else trying this tactic.
I guess the question is, at what point does one speak out, when the person first enters a high-power position, or when the person reaches the highest power position?

I am so sick of these women coming out 20 to 30 years later with unproveable charges. I had a few girlfriends in ny youth that outright lied about sex. One was dumped by a guy so she called his workplace with bizarre stories. She slashed his tires and egged his car. Besides, laying on tlp of somebody is no big deal. She was probably drunk as a skunk. Or ... it may not even have happened.
Allow me to understand..
It completely “derailed her”
She totally forgot about it from 1980 to 2012 when the memory was recovered in therapy.
“A little groping in high school is not sexual assault as it was defined in the 1980’s.”
In the 50s it was considered Sex Ed.
How do you know this?

This may be like people who seem to recall meeting a mixed-race kid in Hawaii forty years ago and later convince themselves years later that it was you-know-who.
In an interview, her husband, Russell Ford, said that in the 2012 sessions, she recounted being trapped in a room with two drunken boys, one of whom pinned her to a bed, molested her and prevented her from screaming. He said he recalled that his wife used Kavanaughs last name and voiced concern that Kavanaugh then a federal judge might one day be nominated to the Supreme Court.
He needs to give more exact dates. Did she name Kavanaugh in 2012? Did she suspect back then that he might make be appointed to the Supreme Court? Or did her memory return after she read about Kavanaugh in the news, in which case it's a lot more suspect.
Of course, a lawyer might track the career of a judge, but it's less likely that a psychologist would. It's possible in these days of google that she could have following Kavanaugh's life online, but I'm still skeptical.
I believe 17 and 15 respectively. She is hazy on, among other details, the year, but thinks it was 1982.
The difference here is that Kavanaugh has been an establishment GOP tool for years, while Moore went out of his way to antagonize the Alabama GOP during his career.

Laz says she was a nympho
Not exactly a babe. I wouldn’t have hit it.
Yes, this is a Roy Moore approach, most definitely.
When will the NeverRoyMoorers break out with their words saying Brett was a loon from the beginning?
They all have no integrity and no brains.
Her word against his and his. There were three people in the room, if there was even a room to begin with.
Yes.
And she cannot remember the date or the address but is CERTAIN it was Brett Kavanaugh.
The incident affected her whole life for 35 years but she retained no memory of whose house she was at or why? Anyone would have retained that information. Sounds like trying to avoid anyone who was there saying they don’t believe it happened.
