The establishments contempt for Donald Trump, and their machinations to remove him, are validated by the presidents intemperate counterattacks and the glee that his supporters take in his barbsStopped reading after that.

Stopped reading after that. ——
Yes. As if mean comments are the moral equivalent to attempting an unwarranted soft coup.

I will go so far as to admit that Donald Trump can be very unconventional--at times even a bit eccentric--in a lovable way, when you realize how truly this wise good man is on
our side. But a typical, conformist politician would not likely have the mettle to challenge the metaphorical Goliath that is the entrenched bureaucracy.
I thank God for Donald Trump, his steadfast courage & perception! We must find the way to vindicate him in the coming election!

Stopped reading after that. I did read the whole thing. The piece sure didn't read like it was written by an "American Conservative". Author sounded like he had a distaste for everything not-deepstate\liberal, and was touching the topic out of a need to hedge his bets on the outcome of his looming civil war.

Actually it’s a very good article. You should go back and read the whole thing. Heads up - you may not want to read the comments section but the article itself is very even handed. I like that.
