Veteran journalist Bob Woodward said Monday in an exclusive interview on NBC News' "Today" that President Donald Trump is "detached from reality" and jeopardizes American national security.
"I've never seen instance when the president is so detached from the reality of what's going on," Woodward said.

Bob, what is your proof?
This is MSN crazy talk no different than peddling a UFO book on Coast to Coast. Ive been listening to the Amorosa tapes and Woodward’s tape of Trump and Trump sounds fine.
President Trump IS national security, Woodward, you dumbass....
Woodward had it much easier when there were only three channels on the TV and the “news” only happened at 6 and 10 -— and the big news anchors covered for him because they agreed with taking out a Republican President. Now, as he tries to take down another Republican President, he has to deal with the reality that the truth will actually come out, sooner or later, and it will show him up for the sorry partisan he is.
Sounds like a perfect description of the runner-up in the 2016 presidential election, forget her name now, she flies a broomstick and cackles a lot.
Trump is changing/creating a new reality- that what pisses bobby (gump) woodward.
The irony is that President Trump is the only one who does have a firm grasp on reality.
Looks like we may need to reevaluate Richard Nixon!!!!
Don’t be fooled by the slow, wholesome midwest drawl. He’s a goofball.
Rush was playing some audio clips of Woodward today.
I know of NO ONE personally, especially a guy, with a voice pattern like that. Of course I run in different circles than the elites do.
Woodward DOES sound like the male version of Senator Susan Collins who I also can’t bear to listen to.
He was a soft-spoken man, well-educated, conservative GOP-er....and quietly carried out his duties during his long tenure in a dignified, unpretentious way.
His liberal, nasty, egotistical acorn son, Bob Woodward, fell far, far from the family tree.

He’s bucking for the Dan Rather Truth In Journalism Prize for 2018.
The Iran Nuclear deal is dead and sanctions are reimposed
PLO id being marginalized and it's financing is withheld to to force the PLO to the negotiating table with Israel
North Korea is suspending nuclear development and agreeing to end the Korean war after 60 years - at least until they find out if Trump and the Republicans prevail in the mid term elections. If Republicans lose in November, expect the North Koreans to try to go back to cheat and retreat business as usual
Economy booming
Tax cuts which allow American companies to bring in trillions of dollars in cash stored in foreign banks to reinvest in the US
Massive return of American manufacturing combined with foreign companies rushing to build factories in the US
NAFTA re negotiated on America's terms
Europe caving into new, fair trade deals and Europe picking up their commitment to fund NATO
Saudi Arabia has been called on it's corruption of American politicians and many of it's worst player have had their assets seized
Obama Care on it's way out.
Black and Hispanic economic opportunity and upward mobility at all time high
ISiS defeated in Iraq and the country stabilized.
Taliban and ISIS on the run in Afghanistan
China coming to table on trade issues
if that is ‘detached from reality, I'm all for it
Thanks for your comments.
Nice to hear his dad was a stand up guy, even if Bob is a gutter-snipe.
He and Bernstein trying to recreate their Watergate glory. Bernstein already flamed out as Lanny Davis threw him under the bus and proved he was a liar. I have no doubt that Woodward's a liar too, just hasn't been proven publicly yet. The only thing I have seen from him on this that I know is authentic is the tape of Trump talking to him about the book. In that Trump says he surmises that the book is going to be negative and he basically says "so be it, some are good and some aren't. Good luck with it". Not the words of a paranoid madman, doesn't fit the rest of the narrative Woodward is selling at all.
Woodward trying, and failing, to recapture his glory days from the 70s.
All smoke and mirrors.
As long as President Trump stands fast, they(Woodward et al) are done. Like a filthy smell that is unpleasant, it will go away.
So.... exactly what is going on?
A good economy?
Low unemployment?
Decent trade deals?
Woodward’s been living in fantasyland since, at least, the Nixon administration. What does he know about reality?
Me: “Woodward trying to peddle a new book to pay for a Malibu seaside mansion”.
