Week one of the regular NFL season kicked off this weekend with a wimper - the ratings were at a 10-year low. ... Americans are fed up with athletes kneeling during the National Anthem and it showed - plenty of empty seats plagued stadiums on Sunday.

The constant protests on the field are destroying the NFL.
The President slammed the NFL on Sunday for their abysmal ratings.
Wow, NFL first game ratings are way down over an already really bad last year comparison. Viewership declined 13%, the lowest in over a decade. If the players stood proudly for our Flag and Anthem, and it is all shown on broadcast, maybe ratings could come back? Otherwise worse!

I watched this game. The stadium was packed at kick-off.
It had been raining hard well before kickoff and did throughout the game.
The Ravens were crushing an obviously inept opponent.
So people went home.
The image posted here proves that people did not want to sit out in a hard rain to watch a game already won by their team.
Good...organizations that get woke deserve to go broke. This is what winning looks like.

I believe one of the biggest things that is keeping the NFL from going off the cliff is Fantasy Football.
Even people who know little or nothing are playing at work and keeping an eye on the games.

Screw the NFL, those exposed TV wires creeping down the wall would drive me nuts. There’s an $10 easy fix that can be done by anyone.
Political correctness and anti Americanism is detrimental to a businesses health, yet they do it all the time and they suffer the consequences.
They’ve done that for years with MLS games (soccer). The Red Bulls played in Giants Stadium here in NJ, and were filling maybe 10,000 of nearly 80,000 seats. Cameras were trained on the field, never panning the stands, and then they built a smaller stadium nearby and play there.
