Alaska Republican Lisa Murkowski still has not announced her decision about U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Murkowski, one of just two pro-abortion Republicans in the Senate, is being lobbied heavily by the abortion industry to oppose Kavanaughs confirmation. With Republicans holding just a narrow 51-49 majority in the Senate, every vote counts.
This week, Murkowski told the Anchorage Daily News that she is watching the confirmation hearings and reviewing Kavanaughs writings, speeches and opinions.
Ive been very clear in terms of what my vetting process was going to be, she said Wednesday. So far I havent heard anything that is earthshaking, something that hasnt been out there as a point of discussion before. But I know they really just started questions this morning.
Of her personal meeting with Kavanaugh, Murkowski said this...

Way to go Alaska, she also voted for Rubio’s amnesty bill.
Amazing comment since he’s ruled on NOTHING yet and hasn’t even been seated on the Court.
Why doesn’t this woman just get it over with and become a Democrat? C’mon Alaska you can do better than this.
Palin should have run against her.
You know what’s funny - these abortion groups and celebrities begging Collins and Murkowski to vote against Kavanaugh will still back their opponents when they’re up for re-election again. I mean really, is someone like Alyssa Milano is really going to go to Alaska and join Murky on the stump and donate to her campaign?
<><> the right to have her aborted babys body part sold off for research?
<><> a womens right to partial birth abortions whereby half-born babies are suctioned out, their brains and skulls crushed?
<><> a woman might lose the right to have the neck of her aborted baby born alive twisted off to make the body parts saleable?
<><> women might lose the right to the Gosnell techniquesticking a scissor in the neck of an aborted baby born alive to kill it?
<><> the right to have a late term abortion baby born alive, to be abandoned, and left to die all alone in a filthy garbage can?
<><> a womans right to have her unborn babys remains burned up in large ovens?
<><> a womans right to have her aborted baby hauled away in a cardboard box to a landfill?

Murkowski should ask Sen Grassley to enter into the record which right concerns her most.

Palin would probably lose. My impression is she doesn’t have the following she used to have in Alaska.
Also one thing I learned from the Murkowski independent run, Alaskans only want you to think they are rugged individualists (I guess that so you will keep watching the reality TV shows!). There is a very large contingents of “gimmiedats” in Alaska! Murkowski relied on them to get her seat back and to keep it!
You can thank the establishment for bankrolling the write in candidacy after she got beat in the primary. We would have 3-4 more real conservatives in the senate if it wasnt for the GOP power structure. They are a disgrace.
She’s playing hardball. Does she want some pork to make her look good with her constituents/voters, or maybe a nice contribution to her foundation, if she has one.
You are right about that.
I have watched the Bush League Republicans help the Democrat win when their amnesty candidate loses the primary.
She’s a crook, she wants something, probably money, but she knows that this is the chance to cash in.
Alaska is a relatively poor state outside the oil boom years. Having lived there its hard to explain. Her views on abortion would be the least of many voters concerns.
$$$$ Opportunity.
Lisa, are you glad you weren’t aborted?

Planned Parenthood doesn’t get $80 million in federal funds every quarter without laundering a few million to kick back to the legislature that appropriates it do you?
Irrelevant. With Kyl we have 50, and likely 2-3 Ds will vote for Kavanaugh or seal their fates in the election.
