Two of Californias best-known Democrats are slipping in the polls as the calendar advances closer to Election Day.
In fact, both Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom and U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein have only single-digit leads over their opponents, the results show.
In the race for governor, a Probolsky Research poll, conducted between Aug. 29-Sept. 2, shows Newsom leading Republican businessman John Cox by a mere 5 points, with 17 percent of respondents undecided, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Feinstein faces similar problems, with the poll showing her with only an 8-point advantage over progressive challenger Kevin de León. A quarter of the respondents told the pollsters they remain undecided. [ ]
The Hispanic vote has been a source of frustration for Newsom, who has basically split that constituency with Cox, despite Hispanics historically preferring Democrats, the Chronicle reported.

We are taking these seats Tfe people of california are sick of communists,
Making room for the radical socialists
Why is there no Republican running against Feinstein? That seat ought to fall quickly, even with that de León commie in the race.
“Grab Her” Newsom is just a rich kid who never worked a day in his life. He has nothing to run on, nothing of value, and no dreams or visions. Demos voting for him only because he’s running as a Democrat. Pathetic
This was said about Pelosi, but it applies across coastal California. A talking head said, “Pelosi does not represent the views of the average American. She does, however, represent the views of her constituents.” Therein lies the problem. Something about California has allowed a concentration of anti-American voters to gain control over the electorate.
There is no Republican because the top two candidates in the primaries face off in the general, regardless of party. California put this law in a couple of years ago. I believe Kamala Harris ran against one of the Sanchez sisters from LA in the general for her Senate seat.
There was some race that was “in danger” of having two Republicans. I think as soon as that happens twice, the law will be reversed.

So you say. Hows the old saying go? Watch the feet not the mouth. So, lets see what happens with the feet meaning at the ballot box.
Feinstein apologized to Kavanaugh for the for outrageous behavior of the freaks in the gallery so now her poll numbers tank. This is what California has become.
The way their primary system is ‘rigged’, the two top vote getters make the final assault. If no republicrats make it to that position, you get to vote for the lesser of the two evils. That’s what happened with cameluh harris and her hispanic opponent last (s)election. Sanchez I believe her name was.
Because of CA's crazy 'jungle primary' system. Everyone runs in the same primary, regardless of party, and the top two vote getters face off in November.
You mean the Hispanic population doesn't like "maricons" or "payasos" ??? How politically incorrect of them, they need to be denounced as "deplorables."
Nancy is 78 years old. No offense but why doesn’t she just retire and spend time with her family? I can’t imagine anyone being too fired up to vote for her anymore.
The Chinese Spy thing was swept under the rug. She is a member of the Resistance.

Since there are no republicans to choose from it’s just a matter of one communist or another...just like the old Soviet Union.
I stand corrected...there is a republican running against Noisome.
Polls! Is there ANYTHING they don’t know?
Seriously, just vote. Take at least two pro-Trumpers with you.
Vote like your life depended on it, because it does.
Forgot about that. Certainly is anti-republic.
Actually Feinstein is not suffering because she too far left... she’s suffering because she’s not far left enough for the whackadoos.... However she will handily win re-election when all is said and done.
Hmmm...... well I’ll be damned.
There might be hope for California
