Wow, that was done quickly. Hope your eyes are happy in the morning to make work easier to do tomorrow. Hard to look at a computer for long stretches with dilated eyes.

Hey, there! Missed your post earlier! It was a good day. Got a few things done and had a good nap with Peaches. Win/win!
How were things there? Still hot and muggy? Did you get any of the rain from Gordan? It kind of looked like it was hooking your way. I guess all the kittehs are being good?
I thought we’d get some rain a bit earlier, but no. It was supposed to rain some every day. Right. Not gonna happen! LOL!

Hmmmmm, “a good nap with Peaches” isn’t a string of words one expects to see. LOL! He usually disrupts sleep.
Muggy, muggy, muggy is all we’ve gotten here from TS Gordon. Rain got close but didn’t make it quite this far to the east. Might get a shower or two tomorrow through the weekend.
It’s raining some in TX, just everywhere but where you are. LOL! I checked the radar earlier and rain was scattered across the state. Same thing happening to us. *sigh*

He was good for a change. LOL! I know it’s hard to believe. They’re both out now, so it should be a great overnight sleep!
I know how frustrating it is! I looked at our radar earlier too, and saw how we were the hole in the donut. Guess you do relate to that.
Only had 3 cats show up today. Ghost, Li’l Bit and the shy black. No clue where the rest of them have gotten off to. Guess they’ll probably show up tomorrow starved half to death. LOL!

He’s behaved before but it sure isn’t a regular occurrence. LOL! Good that he’s outside tonight because the odds aren’t all that good for a repeat performance.
No telling where those silly critters get off to when they disappear. But like you said, they’ll be home and hungry tomorrow.
We weren’t in the donut hole like y’all are. Here, the rain passed us to the west and then decided to spread out to the east when it reached I-40. That barrier thing again. *sigh*

Dang ol’ Interstate Wall! It’s more effective than the Border wall! LOL! Hope something gives you a break soon. Unless it’s time for harvest and time to turn the spigot off.
Yep...I had a feeling I wouldn’t get sleep two times in a row. Glad he’s out. Plus, it’s cooler at night now and it’s good for both of them to get the chance for fresh clean air for a change. I’d love to but for the darn mosquitoes. I’ve got them all over my ankles. Grr!

LOL!!! That’s a good description!
We could use the rain and maybe we’ll get some before the weekend is over. There ARE a few farmers harvesting now and they might not appreciate it but the rest of us would.
It’s coolish here tonight but muggy. I stepped out for a few minutes earlier when Hubby said there was lightning to the west (not while I was out there. grrrrr). No skeeters bugged me but Hubby had just finished mowing and he stirred up something. The ol’ sinuses haven’t stopped thumping yet.

I reckon there wasn’t much lake time yesterday, was there? It looked mighty soggy over there.
Glad you were able to get your driver’s license renewed without too much trouble, other than the computer glitch delay. Must be a common DOT problem - - it happens here a lot too. :-)

I think we all have year-round allergies now. I don’t know about you, but I used to catch a break after spring was over, but now they seem to be all the time.*sniff* Of course, it couldn’t be cat hair...could it? That would not be good. LOL!
I think I’m going to head out in just a few. Take care and see ya tomorrow!

I’ve always had allergies year-round so am used to them. Some times of year are worse than others though.
There’s something growing here all of a sudden that’s wearing us out and we don’t know what it is. It stinks when the yards are mowed. There’s been no nice freshly-mowed-grass smell this year and the stuff really cranks up our sinuses. It affects some of the cats too.
Hubby’s said that if he could win the Powerball, he’d cover all the acreage that isn’t farmed with cement. Problem solved! LOL
Good night and sleep well. I hope your hubby didn’t open the door tonight and let you-know-who inside. :-)

((LOL))Yep, Last month a storm knocked out power to DPS and caused a three day interruption in DL renewal services. Thankfully things worked out OK this time.
We did get some lake time yesterday. Some rain earlier in the day but it cleared off.

You were lucky you didn't have to deal with that long a delay, especially if you waited until the last minute to renew your license
like I do. :-).
Nice that the day wasn't a wash-out and you two could head out to the lake.

Hai Kathy! (((HUGS))) - I’m at home for the moment; gathering my stuff to head to Denver for my yearly re-certification (will be at a hotel in Denver with some other crew studying together) then it’s off to Dallas/Ft Worth for qualification on having a gun on deck - last time I scored 450 out of 500 to pass.

But I also went to bed too late. LOL!
So it balances out!
Anyhow.....y'all have a Fabulous Friday Eve!
