Five Republican senators had breakfast with Attorney General Jeff Sessions last week and encouraged him to not resign despite constant pressure from President Donald Trump.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Sessions invited Sens. John Cornyn of Texas, Thom Tillis of North Carolina, Jerry Moran of Kansas, Ben Sasse of Nebraska, and John Kennedy of Louisiana to dine with him last Thursday morning at the Department of Justice. The meeting took place in Sessions' dining room and included a lengthy discussion about Trump's repeated attacks on him.
The senators, according to the Journal, urged Sessions to keep doing what he's been doing and stay on the job, at least through the November midterms.
Sessions said he is growing tired of Trump berating him over the Russia investigation, from which Sessions recused himself because he played a role on the Trump campaign. Trump has not let up on that point for a year-and-a-half.

And well deserved.
“Five Republican senators had breakfast with Attorney General Jeff Sessions last week”
I call it fake news. Sessions doesn’t even wake up until 4:00 PM, and that’s only so he doesn’t miss his afternoon nap.
Yeah, I have been thinking the same of late. What if ... Sessions recused on the “Russian Interference”, but was doing a separate investigation of Democrat Interference, including real honest to god voter fraud, illegal campaign contributions, selling national assets for personal gain, not nebulous “fake news on social media” crap. Trump attacks Sessions in public to make him look feckless and weak, mostly to throw anyone off the trail of what Sleepy has really been up to for 18 months, then just before the elections, drop the 1000+ sealed indictments that Q has been talking about. That said, if those indictments dont drop before the election, then I think Jeff is out of a job the day after the election.
Amen.
He's not a Texan anymore.
Sens. John Cornyn of Texas, Thom Tillis of North Carolina, Jerry Moran of Kansas, Ben Sasse of Nebraska, and John Kennedy of Louisiana

Proving that these guys are Bush League Republicans who are not on the side of the citizens and then rule of law.

where were flake & corker?
GO SESSIONS! KISS THE DEEP STATE’S ASS!!
**All you have to do is look at the SCUMBAG line up he invited for breakfast.**
Same thoughts! sessions is aligned with the dimmrepubs
To be SO supportive of Trump before .. makes it certain he is a plant . an imposter posing as a buddy... he has let Trump hang in the wind by himself .. to protect his own hide.
Huber is not investigating anyone or anything as i stated 3months ago. He is doing an internal DOJ review. Some folks actually accept that view after I provided the Huber assignment letter. Only the secret investigations crowd thnk that huber is investigating.
...I have now decided to recuse myself from any existing or future investigations of any matter relating in any way to the campaigns for president of the United States....
You’re right, Cornyn needs to be gone. Hopefully some young upstart that fully supports MAGA will run against him.
But we have been told by many here that Huber and Sessions were
working on some secret 3D plan and thousands of indictments were
coming.
Did not believe it then. Do not believe it now.
Republicans. Representing a country, other than USA. Confused beyond recognition. Detached from USConstitution and the principles of USA.
I know that.
But many here believe Sessions and Huber have some super
secret plan they are about to spring.
Joe diGenova’s wife Victoria Toensing said that Rosenstein’s top secret scope documents limit Mueller to investigations of the Trump team, not Hillary, Ohr etc. I suppose that’s one reason they are top secret. RR doesn’t want the public to know how politically one sided the Mueller project was defined to be.
They are out in January, so they are inconsequential.
Sessions isn’t a Democrat, which means he’ll do five years in prison if it’s found that he’s working a secret plan on matters that he testified to the Senate committee that he would recuse himself from. Lying to Congress is a felony, at least when done by Trump supporters.
Q: Trust Sessions
I guess I shouldn’t ask, but why does it matter to them? Why do they think he is doing such a great job? I wish they would stay out of it and do their own jobs.
I know what u are talking about regarding Mulehead’s mission.
But who is investigating the DOJ, FBI and Clinton scandals?
