Trump wins again....McSally & Ducey win primary election in Arizona.

Posted on 08/28/2018 8:33:42 PM PDT by JLAGRAYFOX

POTUS Trump endorsed candidates win in Arizona this evening. Republican, Martha McSally (Senate) & Republican, Doug Ducey (Governor) have easily won their primary races tonight. McSally will go on to be elected Senator from Arizona and, Ducey will be easily re-elected and maintain his Governor position. No Democrat "Blue Wave" in Arizona!!!

Ducey will soon declare who he is appointing to serve the remainder of the Senate term of passed on, Senator John McCain. Hopefully he will appoint Ms. Kelli Ward to that assignment, rather then a McCain family member.

Maybe. I thought he divorced his wife because she was crippled. Kind of followed Gingrich on this one. Maybe cheated on her or was there other wives?

I think they just blew the general election.

This was a good night everywhere. Our strongest candidates won. The Reps also generally outpolled the Dems. A positive sign re voter enthusiasm.

We must now support them, especially McSally. Control of the Senate is of primary importance, as that means control of the committees, especially judiciary.

Trump has the opportunity to shape the Judicial Branch for the next generation.

McSally will be a more reliable conservative vote than Juan McCain has been.

I wouldn't bet on that.

“The rate at which leftards are pouring into this state I am more concerned about the general.”

I feel your pain.
That’s what happened in my lovely Maine, and the moonbats have totally RUINED this state!

“Tonight, after the primary. Not before.”

I’m pretty sure I read it before the primary results, but have not been able to source it after searching after Mr Rogers asked me when.

What struck me about it is that Trump, to the best of my knowledge, had not endorsed anyone in the primary.

It is key for McCain to be replaced with someone good.

About a week back. Look Trump knew that Arpaio was playing the spoiler role and had no chance of winning this primary. Had Arpaio withdrawn his name from the race Trump most likely would not have endorsed any candidate. But....Trump needs two dependable Republican Senators on his team.

With McCain passing on, Trump saw the opportunity to have both McSally & Ward as Senators. So...he endorsed Doug Ducey, the Governor and Martha McSally. Knowing that Both Ducey & McSally would win their races in the general election, Trump laid the groundwork to have Ducey appoint Kelli Ward to fill the remainder of the now passed on John McCain.

Senator, Jeff Flake (retiring)sought to throw a monkey wrench into the McSally effort by endorsing her...but, she wisely rejected his endorsement. Flake was in cahoots, IMHO, with the dead McCain to insure that one of the McCain family get appointed to take John McCain’s senate slot to give Trump pain. Both McCain & Flake were political gutter trash. McSally said to Flake ....no way, buster!!! Case Closed. I believe Ducey will be Governor, McSally and Ward will be Senators and Trump will be happy. End of story!!!

I know he endorsed Ducey, but are you sure about McSally? Do you have a link, such as to a tweet, for that?

I wonder since Joe supported McSally and remained in the race to have Ward loose. Has Joe been compromised & the deep state has something on him?

I agree. McSally might morph way more Trumpish out of dark blue district which put her in the House.

But Sinema is running the best liar campaign I have ever seen. She is a radical leftist. But haircut and all ahe is Ms. Moderate. I am really concerned.

Not a win.

Not a win?! Trump won all he endorsed or talked up, including McSally. Now he writes on Twitter: “Martha McSally, running in the Arizona Primary for U.S. Senate, was endorsed by rejected Senator Jeff Flake....and turned it down - a first! Now Martha, a great U.S. Military fighter jet pilot and highly respected member of Congress, WINS BIG. Congratulations, and on to November!”
