Baby Doll is one of my favorite movies - in spite of the weird over-dubbing. “How many charmin’ birthdays have you had?”

I am going to say one more thing and then remove myself as I am supposed to be a “lady”. I’m tired of being a “lady” I want to kick these people’s asses. This dead son of a bitch was pictured with those ISIS terrorists and I am extremely tired of being above it all. Being above it all is why this country is in the shape we are in and why Mueller has been allowed to go unfettered for nearly 2 years. I can’t do anything about it because I have to be at work on Monday morning to pay for people who don’t work. I’m 54 years old and so effing tired of it all.

It is absolutely amazing seeing those on the political Left Lionizing McCain.

There are so many things to say about McCain and almost none of it good.

His entire life was marked by Recklessness, Immaturity, and a great deal of Selfishness.

Yet there you are with so many lauding him as a great man when he was, for the most part, a very bitter selfish one.

The Hypocrisy and Mendacity being spewed forth tonight in D.C. and other places is appalling.

I suppose he will lie in state and be buried in Arlington.

I doubt very much he was repentant about anything at the end, he was just bitter.

I will too, if he does. And he might for a bit. He still does stuff about Ted Kennedy and John Mondull. :)

Did you not read about Jimmuh blasting PDJT yesterday? I don’t think Jimmuh is evil like McCain was, but he is a clueless idiot who needs to keep his mouth shut.

Faith of his fathers

Despite whatever political disagreements I had with Senator McCain over the years, I am deeply saddened by the news of his death today at the age of 81 from the aggressive form of brain cancer with which he has been contending over the past year. I found the occasions on which I spent time in his company to be a personal highlight. He was an American original. The New York Times has posted an obituary here. We extend prayers on behalf of him and his family.

In 2008 when Senator McCain was about to become the Republican nominee for president, I reread McCain’s Faith of My Fathers (written with Mark Salter). The book is subtitled “A family memoir,” but – read in light of Andrew Ferguson’s Weekly Standard article on books by the leading presidential candidates – we could see that it was a campaign book. Originally published in 1999, the book arrived just in time to promote McCain’s 2000 presidential candidacy. Although the book is indeed a family memoir, the heart of the book is devoted to McCain’s experience as a prisoner of war. I thought I might revisit my observations about the book tonight.

McCain generally avoided public discussion of his own prisoner-of-war experience before writing Faith of My Fathers. In chapter 7 of the 1995 book The Nightingale’s Song, for example, Robert Timberg explored McCain’s experience during the five-and-a-half years he spent as a prisoner of war. Timberg relegated comments about his research to the source notes in the small print at the end of the book:

And to those of you who have nothing good to say about John McCain, I have this to say to you

YOUR MAMA!

Good line.

Yeah you should have he was a terrible person. Glad he is gone - he was an enemy to everyone here and a bit insane on top of it all

“It is absolutely amazing seeing those on the political Left Lionizing McCain.”

Could it be they are showing some class? Some respect for the dead?

Something you might consider trying.

Save the bad stuff for Bill and Hillary. And David Brock. Schumer, of course. And Mad Maxine.

And the same people here at FR will be spouting the same worthless platitudes that we are seeing tonight.

He still does stuff about Ted Kennedy and John Mondull. :)

Mondull... LOL!

'Ted Kennedy The Philanderer from Rush Limbaugh' is one of the funniest things I've ever heard on Rush's show! I really wish Rush would play those parodies more often like he did back in the day. :-D
