I love steaks especially Rib Eyes and Porterhouse. Unfortunately I can no longer afford them.
Every now and then I see some on clearance because they are dated. I actually like them better but even those are too high now.
“Note to Self - Buy some Nathans hot dogs at the store.”
We did today, before we even knew about this boycott. I have a feeling Nathan’s will be doing some serious business this weekend when the patriots go shopping.
I will empty my local Kroger tomorrow. We will hold a free deplorables cookout. All the Nathan’s “Anthony’s” you can Eat!
It’s now Friday, 5pm Pacific Time. Did Nathans have the fund raiser, or did they bow down to pressure?
Nathan’s makes some good hot dogs.
People are not, just some small number of loudmouths are. Let us know how that works out for you, dumbasses. Thanks EveningStar.
I’m not a big fan of Nathan’s, but I may have to reconsider.
Nathans it is then
Despite the well publicized health horrors of processed foods, a package of Hebrew National ‘dogs every now & then won’t break the bank; a HN Coney Island is to die for.
Hey, we all go sometime.
Well, OK.
Well... Looks like it’s Nathan’s for our family from now on!
I’ll go out and buy some Nathan’s hot dogs tomorrow!
I don’t eat any processed food- and the small-chain grocery store in the nearest town caters the organic/natural crowd-they also carry Nathan’s hot dogs-so tomorrow I’ll put a couple of packages in my cart to piss off mean spirited liberals-I can donate them for the Labor Day cookout at our local VFD ...
I always have a pack of Nathan’s in the fridge. Also try their toppings. They are great.
It’s the only hotdogs we eat at home. Gotta buy some extra. :)
RATS. I haven’t had a hot dog in months. Now y’all are making me hungry for a nice grilled Nathan’s dog. Or 2.
Nathan’s Hotdog bulk pack purchase at BJs coming up next trip.
Good excuse to buy some hotdogs.
Mustard + sauerkraut fan here. Usually with the dog rolled up in a slice of Ezekiel bread.
I feed my dog meat for dinner. I used to get him chicken for $1.99 a pound. That is $2.99 per pound now. $1 is not exactly expensive, but that is a 50% INCREASE. I’ve only had this dog for 4 years. I am pretty sure my income hasn’t incresed 50% in 4 years, because I am pretty sure my income hasn’t gone up AT ALL in the last 4 years.
But there is no inflation, of course. Not per the US government. Beginning with Clinton, they changed way inflation is calculated so many times, and always adjusting the “official” inflation rate downward, that now the inflation numbers are meaningless.
So are the unemployment numbers. Both have been fudged so dramatically, they have ceased to have any relationship to the true inflation rate or the true unemployment rate.
And then politicians wonder why I despise government.
Here in Martinez, CA is 2.88 for a 16 oz. Now I’m planning to buy more.
