I feed my dog meat for dinner. I used to get him chicken for $1.99 a pound. That is $2.99 per pound now. $1 is not exactly expensive, but that is a 50% INCREASE. I’ve only had this dog for 4 years. I am pretty sure my income hasn’t incresed 50% in 4 years, because I am pretty sure my income hasn’t gone up AT ALL in the last 4 years.
But there is no inflation, of course. Not per the US government. Beginning with Clinton, they changed way inflation is calculated so many times, and always adjusting the “official” inflation rate downward, that now the inflation numbers are meaningless.
So are the unemployment numbers. Both have been fudged so dramatically, they have ceased to have any relationship to the true inflation rate or the true unemployment rate.
And then politicians wonder why I despise government.
Someone dumped a dog off here in the country 4 days ago. He is a fairly small dog. To start with he would not get within 50 yards of me. I have been feeding him table scraps and this morning he came almost up to me as I was dumping the food in his plate.
He holds his head sideways a lot like he has a tick in his ear. It might be something else but I can’t get close enough to check. Maybe in a day or two.
That’s what happens when you just print money to pay off debts. Better start feeding him dog food.....since eventually that’s what we’ll all be eating....because that’s what we’ll be able to afford.
Were you feeding your dog raw chicken? I no longer have a dog but I would look into raw meat and uncooked bones if I did. Several videos on youtube about it.
