During an interview on “The Late Show,” Tuesday, Senator Bernie Sanders declared socialist ideas to be mainstream, after host Stephen Colbert suggested it’s hurting Democrats at the ballot box.
Mr. Colbert pointed out that most of the candidates Mr. Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez campaigned for lost their primaries.
“Why do you need to call yourself socialists? Because that’s freighted with so much negativity in the United States,” the late-night comedian asked. “Maybe there’s a little taint to socialism that turns people off?”

I’ve always told socialists to go build their little utopia, make it real, then come back and talk to me but they never are able to succeed. Seems like that pesky “human nature” always gets in the way.
If the socialists had taken control during the FDR administration, we would still be using snail mail and talking on hard wire phones.
If the trendy set thinks it is cool to like socialism it is still difficult to believe that they would like an old rich socialist like Bernie.

Bernie is a liar and a con artist.
Everything about that man’s history screams corruption.
Socialism, the second most vile political philosophy. Communism the first most vile political philosophy. The true honest pillars of socialism/communism are Lies, Envy, Hatred, Theft, and Murder. All should remember. The dims intend to impose theft and murder upon us as soon as they possibly can. Their actions will be protected by federal courts. We will be persecuted by the same federal courts. Are we ready?

BUT they know that the public still sees “SOCIALISM” as a tainted thing. Even Obama openly taunted the public by saying things like ‘they oppose socialism but then say don’t touch my medicare or unemployment benefits...’
Just think if the media was reporting on all of the Communist flags, banners, shirts, and literature at the riots and marches we see in the 21st century in America.
The thing nobody knows is is that 90 percent of Sam is brewed in Cincinnati. The water in Boston would make Sam Narragansett light.
Have you ever seen him have to answer real questions? No, like all socialists he avoids them. But when confronted, their standard tactic is denial. “The Nazis weren’t socialists” is the standard one. “They were fascists”. As if the two are mutually exclusive.

Socialism has only worked in the few countries that:
1) have enough resources to sell to capitalists and therefore can import all the benefits of capitalism.
2) have the brains to not kill the golden goose in #1 (unlike Venezuela)
3) have homogenous populations that are immune to color obsession and race politics

- cynicism towards society in conjunction, inherently, with naiveté towards government.
- the fatuous assumption that people who did not even attempt to “build that” can sustainably operate and maintain “that”- in the face of changing conditions - more usefully to society than the people who did “build that” can. And that “that” is the last word, and society will always need the products of “that” - and will never need any further examples of “building that” in the future.
