Rosemary’s decade was the Fifties, but she made a comeback in the Eighties singing the Great American Songbook. Her voice had deepened, her hair had whitened, she sported an extra sixty pounds, but she sounded great. This is from her Ira Gershwin disk from 1979.

He sounds like a pretty typical cat. Most of ours are like that. A few are almost obnoxious wanting to be held and loved on all the time.
Typical is preferable. :-)

Poor Dexter would love to be held but he’s just too heavy. He’s too heavy to be a lap cat and has to settle for sitting next to us on the sofa. As long as he’s getting scratched and petted, he’s happy enough.

This was an unexpected find. Tuckwell is a classical horn player – as in French horn – and I normally hear him playing Mozart or Brahms. This is a wonderfully dreamy take on the song.
