He sounds like a pretty typical cat. Most of ours are like that. A few are almost obnoxious wanting to be held and loved on all the time.
Typical is preferable. :-)
Poor Dexter would love to be held but he’s just too heavy. He’s too heavy to be a lap cat and has to settle for sitting next to us on the sofa. As long as he’s getting scratched and petted, he’s happy enough.
