Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Sunday said she hopes to remain on the high court for at least five more years, according to CNN.
"My senior colleague, Justice John Paul Stevens, he stepped down when he was 90, so think I have about at least five more years," 85-year-old Ginsburg said at an event in New York City.

Carter was the first FORMER POTUS in my lifetime to spend his post-presidency badmouthing his successor (who soundly defeated him). He started this business of it being (in the world of the left) OK for a former POTUS to speak badly of the sitting president. Last damned Dem I ever voted for. Mea culpa.

I disagree. Correct me if I’m wrong but the only time I remember hearing from him since he announced his terminal diagnosis was once early. In the Korea situation where he popped up and said kind words about trump, undoubtedly trying to be asked to help
It still is highly fatal. But it depends where the cancer is and how soon it is found. If it’s in the tail of the pancreas and found early enough (often incidentally), it can be removed. When it’s in the head and shows up because it’s obstructing ducts and causing jaundice, it’s typically too late.
