I saw a report in the last few days indicating that Trump and the Trump Organization had signed a waiver of attorney-client privilege for the recordings Cohen released to CNN. So, yeah ... I’d say there’s a lot more to this story than meets the eye. LOL.

Cohen will say whatever they tell him to say
You’re correct about the impact during the mid terms. The questions is many have said there has been more than enough to pull the plug months and months ago. So why didn’t they? There are so many actions that should have been taken long before now and yet they haven’t. Why are people not questioning why?

The only "infamous" thing about that meeting was that the press thinks it was a big deal. Woman from some other country claims to have information. Trump's campaign hear's her out. Turns out she was lying and wanted to talk about something else...where is the scandal? Should Trump's campaign have had a policy of never talking to people from other countries to avoid the appearance of the other country stealing an election? How absurd! And yet this seems to be the standard that Trump's campaign (and only Trump's campaign) is oddly held to. Suppose a campaign absolutely refused to talk to any foreigners...how long before the charges of xenophobia started?
Why wouldn’t he? If somebody calls and says I know some really bad things about your opponent, there’s no reason not to go. It’s also completely legal, even if it’s a dreaded Russian. When Trump’s son realize they were just jerking his chain, he ended the meeting. So what?

Related, but how does Cohen releasing this help his cause? It doesn’t. In fact, it dilutes its value. Did this really come from him?
